I haven’t been here in almost 5 years. I loved the original menu. I wasn’t thrilled with the new version. We were stuck in the back tiny room they call the ‘wine cellar’. There was a larger party with kids and they were so loud it was like being at chuck e cheese.They didn’t have a wedge salad. I’m not certain how you run out of that, well I guess you don’t order enough lettuce. The waiter attempted to recreate one but it didn’t work at all. They need bigger plates for the entrees. My husband and daughter had some steak, a ribeye maybe? It was on smaller than a normal dinner plate for the scallop potatoes and asparagus were all smashed together and basically under the steak. Overall I was completely underwhelmed since I know what this used to be. Our server was very attentive and nice, maybe a little hyper for the table next to us but I liked him. I doubt I’ll ever go back, which is sad because this used to be one of my favorite restaurants pre-covid.

Where do I even start with this raving ten star review? ⭐️We’ve dined at Hero Ranch many times before, along with its sister restaurant Flowers Saratoga that is adjacent.So when it came time to celebrate three of our birthdays, it was an easy choice to come here. We made reservations a week in advance. When we arrived, we were promptly greeted by a friendly hostess. We sat outside on the patio which was cozy with heaters and individual blankets at each seat.While the cocktails and food were excellent, what truly made our celebration extraordinary was the exceptional service from our server, Richard. He was thoughtful, engaging, humorous, and an incredible listener, perfectly resonating with our group's personalities. Additionally, the other staff members who assisted us throughout the night were incredibly kind and friendly.At the end of the night, we were pleasantly surprised with birthday desserts, ice cream topped with caramel popcorn and a candle, which was delicious. And to top it all off, several employees were wonderful enough to join in on singing happy birthday to us, adding a magical and sweet touch to our evening.I'd like to manage expectations for other customers by mentioning that the restaurant staff doesn't typically sing "Happy Birthday" to customers, so it felt particularly special to us when they did join in on the celebration.It's evident that this business evokes a culture that values their patrons, and we can't say enough good things about Richard's attentive service with a constant warm smile.We wish we had gotten the names of everyone else, but you can see them in our video. We've been raving to our friends and family about how amazing our night was, and we're already looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you for creating such a memorable experience!

Outstanding food, cocktails and wine. The seared halibut is consistently delicious. We had the burrata and prosciutto crostini to start - just heavenly! We were outside on a chilly night warmed by heaters, it was lively and fun.

HRK is one of our favorite places and they did not disappoint at last night's B'day dinner. 4 dif appetizers were all very good- mushrooms are terrrific. 4 different main courses were all generous serving size and totally delic. And wedge salad- big enuf for 2- was absolutely loaded with good stuff. Unreservedly recomment

We love the crab cakes and lamb chops at HRK! My family got the NY ribsteak and I got the risotto; all excellent:) My top fave is the bread pudding....absolute decadence....warm pudding with the ice cream dollop...not to miss. Our server, Alexa was wonderful! Love love HRK!

This area should really be for 4+ groups and not couples as the noise is unbearable. Next time I'll be sure to mention seating in main restaurant only.

Large menu with lots of choices. We can hear for a birthday dinner and had a wonderful experience. We had the hamachi carpaccio. The slices could have been more evenly thin but the taste was great. The octopus was tender and had a nice char. The pear and pomengrant salad was seasonal, fresh and vibrant. The stuffed mushrooms were very tasty. We three each ordered the steak. The bone in ribeye was the best. The wagyu was a little dry but that was because my friend ordered a medium. Used error. The other filet tasted good but I think the rib eye won the night.
The host was very thoughtful because we were supposed to eat outside. He had noticed there was a seat at the bar inside and offered it to us! Tim and Mari were fantastic! They were engaging in conversation and very helpful in recommendations. Tim certainly makes you feel special. Thank you!
My husband and I went to Hero Ranch because we haven't had a chance to go out for our birthdays and Valentines, we have a baby at home. Food was delicious, amazing service, and loved the specialty cocktails. Perfect way to celebrate!
