The food and breads are fresh and special gluten free orders are easily prepared.

My order is never right when I order on the phone. I no longer tip til I check my order. Now I come and watch my sandwich being made and still had to correct him with detailed order in front of him. On top of that didn't tip and hit no tip button and was still charged 2 dollar tip. Screen said 18 . To be charged and 21 was charged! Since they moved from prospect and Lawerence its absolutely terrible. On top of that won't let me post unless I give star rating. 0 stars. Forced to put 1

I ordered an Italian sandwich was the worst sandwich I ever had! No dressing. I called and the guy answer the phone said he was sorry, but nothing he could do about it. I told him to tell lady and that was the worst sandwich I had.

The sandwiches and wraps are consistent and provide a quick meal solution. There is a lot of parking and the location is easily accessible. The process of ordering and paying upfront at the register is resulting in a breakdown of communications. It seems inevitable that something is not "as ordered" such as dressing added to the wrap not on the side as requested, or a normal amount of pickles, not extra. It is never a major deviation... but not exactly right.

Came here and there was only one employee making sandwiches, but she was busy. I could see another employee in back cutting meat. Not once did someone say "we'll be right with you". Its almost like we were being ignored to force us to use their kiosk for ordering. I hate the kiosks. We used the kiosk and ordered the new roast beef French dip sandwich. I was not impressed. Bread was very tough. Sandwich was bland and had very limited flavor. The au jus was WAY TOO HOT. Scalding hot. It should be warm, but not hot where it burns your mouth. If someone spilled it on themselves they would get some level of a burn. Can you say lawsuit? In general, Togos sandwiches are usually good. This one was not and I would never order it again.

Mean rude unhappy unfriendly lady. Put the works on my receipt then never put it on the sandwich. Out of sourdough bread gave me old stale Dutch bread instead.Subway is better friendly service correct orders & fresh bread too!.Bye Nogo’s back there.

I'm not exaggerating when I say they literally hired the most illiterate workers. The ingredients are literally listed out in the receipt clearly and they still manage to mess up every time. The first time I went there, they messed up every single sandwich we ordered. The second time, they messed up again. There will NOT be a third time. I've literally seen them read the receipt over and over and still mess up. At this point, they're just acting like they're reading it but then end up making the sandwich however they want to. I'm glad I didn't tip the first time, and I regret tipping the second time. Never coming back here again

From a single location in San Jose that opened in 1971, Togos has grown to an an empire with 180+ locations. (Note: many claim that togos history goes back to Michigan in the early 60s)These are solid reliable sandwiches; they aren't going to wow you but aren't likely to disappoint either. The bread is better than subways but not as good as specialty places. Think McSandwich.My workhorse is #24, turkey avocado. I ask for spicy mustard but most locations don't have it. (This one didn't) Sourdough is a good choice.If avocado isn't your thing, there's #4 turkey, salami, and cheddar. This goes on wheat and is defn better with spicy mustard (would it be wrong if I brought my own?)While the above two are reliable at every location, #37 Brewpub Chicken varies widely. The chicken here felt a little dry which they tried to cover up with extra ranch. Didn't work.Another hit or miss is #7 Roast Beef. Here it's more well done, other places it's rare. Two good sandwiches, one ok sandwich, and one wish-it-were-better sandwich.The location was clean and the people were nice.

The Prospect and Lawrence location relocated and this is it. That one was great. This one, not so much. Every order, something is wrong. They'll forget the avocado, they'll put onions on when they aren't supposed to, etc. C'mon people - this is not that hard. Just pay attention! Doesn't seem to matter if I physically order at the shop or if I preorder on the app. Two stars because the sandwiches taste great. Minus three stars because you have to check everything!

Since moving to El Paseo, staff can't get an order straight. Today sandwich had to be made three times before correct, even after painfully (two or three times) attempting to make instructions clear. Last two weeks, same sort of problems.Have gone to pre-move location for years - no problems.May try again in a year.Max B.
