Visited mid week on a Wednesday. Decided to just go in for something simple - burgers and a glass of wine for me and beer for him. Time to be acknowledged to order was long. Time to get food was long. Food was good but $75 for 2 burgers, fries and a glass of wine and beer? no.

Wow! My family and I were so impressed! Unfortunately it didn't open until 4pm but it was worth the wait. There was one waiter and he was fantastic. Got all of our orders correct and served a few other parties at the same time. I ended up getting a Classic Burger with a gluten free bun, and it was perfect. I asked for it to be well done and it was perfectly cooked and the bun was fantastic. My partner got the cheese/basil/mozzarella socca and he was totally blown away. He was worried it would be small and not an entire meal, but it ended up being huge, maybe 12" in diameter. My grandma got the salmon with green beans. She said "it was extraordinary" and she is planning to go back next weekend. The burger didn't come with fries or anything, so I ordered the starter of fries/sweet potato fries/brussels sprouts chips that the three of us shared. I'm usually not a fan of sweet potatoes, but these were so perfectly done and I was very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was great, and not tons of people were there (granted, it was a Thursday afternoon). We will certainly be back next time we're in town.

Overview: Food was fine/good, nothing amazing and service was spotty. Nice to try but probably wouldn't come back. This place was pretty busy and a friend had said this place was really good so I had high hopes, but my expectations were not met. I got to try socca for the first time and it was pretty good and interesting to try. My favorite part of it was the crispy crust. The portion size is larger than I had expected which was a nice surprise. I also got to try the French Onion Burger which was good but nothing special or amazing. Also considering the price you would think it would come with a side but it didn't. Our waiter taking orders and handling the check was very spotty because he was the only one working at the time even though it was lunch time. There was one other person who was serving water who was nice but we also never got our water vase refilled.

There is something special about Fast Food Francais. I'm unable to explain it, but it could be because the staff cares about the quality of their food, the welcoming atmosphere and the attention to detail from the staff delivering a mixed casual/formal service.The menu is special enough to make the trip feel worth it. All the assortments of burgers are great, so you can't go wrong with any of them. The Steak and Frits is delicious, extremely satisfied with the steak every time I've ordered it. The Pan Seared Salmon is amazing along with the green beans it is served with. Occasionally their menu includes a Duck Confit which is also very well done, you can really taste and appreciate the fat it was cooked in.Overall a great experience.Although I do advise coming in small parties and maybe be more lenient with wait times on the weekends. The staff can be overwhelmed with larger parties or during busy times as each server has to give a lot of attention to all their tables, the food is prepared with a lot of care so wait times can be long on super busy days.Fast Food Francais has become pretty popular so a lot of groups like to show up or make reservations since the out door seating is well organized but I've always felt like the restaurant was more catered towards small intimate groups or intimate dates.

Last time I ordered from here didn't like my macaroni and cheese. It is usually pretty good, something happened that day. Maybe they don't happen to have the same cook every day?
Had their burger and it was phenomenal!! A little small, but I'll definitely be coming back!

Service was slow. The food overall was on the saltier side, the French onion soup was good. The F3 appetizer was okay, the brussel sprout chips were on the extra cooked / burnt side, fries were soggy the French onion burger was pretty good, though a little messy, the onion rings that they described, were only onion strings which was disappointing.

I get to eat here a lot since I work in the area. I must say the service is always great and they keep the place clean all the time. Rates are reasonable and they serve generous portions.

Had such a great first meal there this weekend with our baby too! Outdoor seating plus some indoor. I had the filet mignon special, husband had the bacon wrapped pork. Both cooked to perfection and washed down with a fin du monde and a bourdoux respectively:)
