I thought the food was good but not amazing. The prices were above average, even taking into account the cost of paying the band. Although I ended up giving extra for the band, the total check amounts until exceeded my expectations

Be sure to check this place out. It is off the main street just a couple blocks. Feels like a locals joint with comfort food and great wine.They also have live music (on select nights).We started with the minestrone soup and house made focaccia. Both were great.Our entrees were the house made gnocchi, lasagne, spaghetti and risotto. We also ordered side of Brussel sprouts that also had pancetta and sweet potatoes. They were the best thing on the table. Delicious.All of our dishes were lovely. The only drawback was the risotto is not a traditional one. Did not have the creaminess we are used to. We will definitely be back.Service was excellent as well.

We were able to get seated and drinks and food all fast and fresh. Unfortunately my husband ordered the clams vongole and ate a bad clam. Aside from that, the whole vibe and food and service were excellent.

In terms of ambiance, I'd agree that Osteria Divino is that rare find--a perfect restaurant for a date night. Intimate, dark, and definitely non-corporate. Service was "relaxed." We were here on a first date, and at first more interested in getting to know each other than ordering. And this wasn't a problem. I ordered a Manhattan at the bar, before my date arrived. The drink arrived 20 minutes later--but was really good. As was the seafood risotto. And the tiramisu was as good as I ever had, with the coffee nuance understated yet profound. I really liked this place. It held us well. And though I no longer live in Marin, I'll be back.

The food was absolutely delicious! So many nut free, non-beef/pork options to eat! We honestly couldn't decide what to eat! We started with the Bruschetta on focaccia bread and it was delicious, not soggy but fresh! Next, we decided on a butternut squash gnocchi with mushrooms and a pasta dish with smoke salmon. Both were absolutely amazing! There were so many options it was hard to choose! The restaurant itself is really nice. Think a speakeasy mixed with great food. It's very dark though, but they provide you with little table lights so you can read the menu. My one and only (minor complaint) was the service. I made reservations way ahead of time letting them know it was my husband's birthday. Upon arrival they didn't really care we had a reservation and sat us right next to the entry of the kitchen. It wasn't busy then so I'm not use sure what they sat us there. Between the loud (but lovely) music and sitting right next to the kitchen it was almost impossible to have a good conversation. We had a few good laughs when people kept running into my knee (I'm tall didn't have much leg room). Overall, the food and atmosphere were amazing. Just wish they took a little more pride in the people who took the time to make reservations and to tell them ahead of time it was their birthday. I felt like they were annoyed when I mentioned, "The birthday boy would love to see the dessert menu". The staff seemed very rush and not interested in anything else but clearing the table.
Lamb was served double boned, but tried down to one bite. 3 double boned lollipop with one bit on each. It came with small a small portion of mashed potatoes a large portion of Brussel sprouts and a lot of wine reduction sauce. My wife have the risotto with veggies, and it was under cooked and no flavor. Even my 6 year old butter noodles were under cooked. Beautiful setting with live music, but food was not worth the price

My favorite restaurant in Sausalito. I love the neighborhood feel of Divino. I feel every table is a good one, except the small table right by the door. Unless, you're listening to live music. Then, it's worth it to be so close to the door. The owner is super kind and makes her rounds to check on guests. The menu is well thought out. It's comforting to have Divino, and it's a go to for date nights.

Great food with amazing live jazz. We visited on a night when global jazz headliner Chuchito Valdez was performing, but local talent is top-notch on most nights. This place is friendly to all and still a somewhat hidden gem in Sausalito.

The service and food are always fabulous! Love the pork medallions and the hazelnut chocolate gelato! It's a charming European style with live jazz musicians on Friday & Saturday nights. Great place for a date!

OMG! Just when you think Osteria Divino can't be any better, it's better! Such an amazing selection of delicious food, friendly knowledgeable staff, wonderful ambience, and the owner is there to say hi and make sure all is well! I wish I lived closer so I could eat there every week! Thank you!

The food was fantastic (and always has been); this is one of our favorite restaurants. We love the homey feel. The only thing that we didn't love was that the piano music was SO loud. Ordered the carbonara - divine. The lasagna - delicious. Pesto Gnocchi - fantastic and the Arrabiatta - nice kick. A few salads and a few desserts as well for the perfect meal with friends.

We have lived in Mill Valley and walked by this restaurant dozens of times and never stopped in. What mistake! Delicious pasta! The music was wonderful too! We will be back! If you're looking for a wonderful evening, enjoy this restaurant on a Saturday evening!
