Always a bright spot in Sausalito -- which is saying something! Love the food, the service, the music and just the general vibe of the place. Highly recommend it!

With patio and outdoor seating, this taqueria is a short bike ride or walk from the ferry. The service was excellent, friendly waitstaff bilingual in Spanish and English. We got the three taco special and the shrimp quesadilla. Both of us loved the quesadilla and my friend preferred the carne asada tacos whereas I like the Baja tacos best. They bring out a little sauce platter with crema too which is nice. Without the salsa the tacos were not heavily seasoned but the salsa was good and spicy. Between the two of us it was about $25/person plus tip, so this is definitely more of a sit down and have a pleasant meal kind of taco shop with a Sausalito vibe. They had a chile relleno special with crab meat but it was $38 so I held back. I would come back and try more seafood items.

Sausalito local. This restaurant has the best Mexican food in Sausalito and Mill Valley. We came here two days in a row this weekend..Great service and delicious food. The chips and three sauce trio was delicious and so was their special. Also, the virgin bloody mary was beautifully flavored with good heat. The fish was fresh too. We can't wait to come back.

This review is to commend not just their delicious food, but also the above and beyond service we experienced at this place. My fiancé and I were visiting from out of town and had a craving for Mexican food. We came upon Salsalito as it was a 5 min walk from our hotel. It was drizzling that day so we called and ordered ahead and walked on over to the restaurant with our dog to pick up our order. When we got there, the rain started coming down hard. The owner offered to plate our food so that we could eat in the patio to wait the rain out. She also gave our dog water and treats and was understanding when our dog was barking (he was scared of the wind). We both got the fish and shrimp tacos. Both were seasoned well, lightly battered and fried crispy. She also gave us fresh chips as the ones we ordered got cold before we could get there. My personal favorite though were the meaty beans! Imagine pinto beans with bacon, so amazing! Their patio was nicely decorated with Baja vibes. It was also well covered, and they had heaters all around to keep the place cozy. Overall we had a fantastic experience and plan to come back!!!

The cute name drew us in. Beautiful spot with outdoor seating across from the water. Ask for the vegan/vegetarian menu. We had the chorizo plate and chips and guac/salsa. Delicious!

Just stopped in for an afternoon bite with 3 adults, 3 five year olds, and a 2 year old. We were quickly greeted and accommodated to a corner table by a lovely waitress. Our table was set with kids menus and electronic doodle pads in place. The kids all got water with fun straws and lids right away. Our waiter was delightful and helpful. He was quick with his rounds to get our orders placed. The kids were happily entertained with thier pads and us grown ups and had a chance to chat. The food came out promptly no more than 10 minutes and OH. MY. GOODNESS!!! DELICIOUS!!!! We ordered kids burritos, guacamole, tacos, a Cali style burrito and soup. I got the pescado, pork and steak tacos that were absolutely amazing! Perfectly seasoned and portioned. The rice was flavorful and fluffy. The beans were soft and just the right amount of satly and savory. I LOVED the pescado taco, crunchy, slightly spicy. We were treated so well and will definitely be back!Kid-friendliness: Accommodating to small portions and picky eatersWheelchair accessibility: Ramp to enter

A lot of the items on the menu are very spicy, so if you don't like that, you will not be happy. I dont, so I ordered the chicken fajitas and it was bland and under cooked. My friends ordered the steak fajitas and had the same reaction. We ordered the special chicken chili with goat cheese as an appetizer. That was a little spicy, but tasty. The guacamole was terrible. Tasted like trader Joe's guac. The corn soup was really spicy. They don't have a liquor license so no authentic cocktails.

The tacos was good. I asked them to remove the sour cream from a vg burrito to make it vegan. However they charge you of you asked to switch items.. Basically you can remove but not replace for the same price. The sangria was a joke, they put so much water in it. It would be fine if it was a 2$ sangria, but it's not acceptable for a 12$ sangria. This was not even a generous glass. I am dispointed also by the fact that the don't offer the vegan menu with the other menu. I realised only now reading the other reviews that there was one Updated from previous review on 2023-11-06

A bit expensive yes but it's worth it. The quality and service is fantastic, and i imagine location plays into it. Great place, clean and well kept. Really nice host, attentive servers. Delicious food!(We had enchiladas and fish tacos)
