Decent food. Was a bit oily but tasty. We had Nepalese thali and noodles. Both were good. Roti was smooth and fluffy.Staff were friendly and good.

I grew up coming here and I am still a loyal customer. The food is delicious, the owners are very sweet, and the prices are always reasonable. The butter chicken is my favorite but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

I had the pleasure of dining at Sartaj Indian Cafe with my family, and the experience was delightful. The cuisine was not only delicious but also remarkably fresh. The staff, particularly Suvash and Prashansa, provided exceptionally friendly service. The Chai was truly legendary, and the restaurant offers fantastic options for vegetarians. Our Thanksgiving dinner was a joy, and we're already looking forward to returning for more delightful meals.

I recently ventured to Sartaj Indian Cuisine with a diverse group of friends and, eager to accommodate everyone's spice tolerance, we opted for mild dishes. Here's the lowdown on our culinary journey: We started with Chhole Batura, and I must say, it was a revelation. The chickpeas were perfectly spiced and the batura was airy and delicious. We threw caution to the wind and added an extra puri, which turned out to be a fantastic decision - it was crispy, fluffy, and the perfect vessel for the chhole. In a moment of carnivorous craving, we ordered the Lamb Boti Kabab. This dish, however, didn't quite hit the mark. The lamb was a tad on the tough side and didn't justify the price point. That being said, the accompanying naan was a fluffy savior, soft and warm, perfect for scooping up the remnants of our appetizers. The sleeper hit of the night was the Bindi Do Pyaza. The okra was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crunch, and the onions added a sweetness that complemented the dish beautifully. It came with a side of rice which was the perfect canvas for the vibrant flavors of the dish. My advice for fellow diners: If you can handle a bit more heat, don't be afraid to go medium on the spice level - mild is safe, but medium adds that extra kick that takes the dishes from good to great. Despite the lamb's slight letdown, the meal was a success and Sartaj Indian Cuisine remains on my list for a future visit.

I would not say the food is an authentic Indian 5, and I do think it was better a few years ago. In terms of Indian food this is a 3.5 or 4, but healthierHowever, it's reasonably priced ethnic food in a pretty white town and it's comforting and relatively good quality, with an authentic spice level if he thinks you can handle it.The mango lassi tends toward the sweeter and more juicy kind.Tikka masala dishes are different than before: more of a slightly creamy tomato sauce than the tart creamy rose sauce before.
