Sula is truly amazing. Whether you want something simple like an omelette or something with more flair like the colorful salmon tartine your taste buds will be delighted. Each dish is beautifully plated and purely delicious. As for the staff our waiter Albert was perfect. He never rushed or pushed us and was always kind, patient, helpful, and attentive leading to an even more wonderful dining experience. My family and I really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning.
Hidden brunch location with beautiful views of the bridge and headlands. Quiet bar setting and great selection. The lodge is also fun to wander and there is a cooking school upstairs. Bring your peppy Aunt from Peoria, she'll be impressed.
Phenomenal, beautiful, classy, delicious
Gorgeous dining room, fabulous location in the old military base, near the anchorage of the north tower of the Golden Gate Bridge. Food is sublime - creative, delicious, gorgeous presentation. The main dining room and adjoining bar are classy, warm and inviting. Great waiters - have been coming off and on for years. We love have lunch or drink on the large outdoor porch during the afternoons. A San Francisco/Marin County treasure of the first order. Not overly expensive and worth every dime. Our waiter last night, from Nepal, was a delight.
We loved it. Our Brunch was delicious. I had the Juevos Rancheros and if I wasn't so full I would have ordered another one. The service was impeccable. I could not have asked for a better dining experience. We will be back...soon!
It took them 20 minutes to bring water. We asked to change the table that was more in the cocktail lounge section close to the door. Manager was MIA and it took her a while to get there. The cesar salad was good but the main entrees were mediocre at best. I could not eat more than 3 of goat cheese ravioli and my husband did not care too much for his short rib pasta either. The pumpkin flan was ok. Overall, an overpriced joint that stays open thanks to tourists and the captive audience of guests who stay at the lodge. Waste of money!
Thanksgiving dinner overpriced, unimaginative and poor service.
We were seated in the front room which was freezing. Asked to be moved & then got moved to a small seating area nearby with a cocktail table not a table for dining. Ask to be seated in one of the side rooms with fireplaces or the main dining room if you're there when it's cold.
Only suggestion is to put some sound dampeners in main dining room to bring the noise level down Otherwise all good!
Beautiful setting, would be best if you came before it's too dark. Hard to find the valet parking. But food, service, and ambiance was great. Clearly a place people celebrate special occasions!

Delicious food and wonderful ambiance! I enjoyed celebrating my birthday here with two good friends.
The people there were fantastic and the ambience was amazing. It was the perfect serene morning, and the food was impeccable. Fallon and her teammates were particularly welcoming and helpful.
Poor customer service. Went to get drinks with our elderly parents visiting from out of the country. Treated poorly by the server, luckily the bar back took our order and was friendly and accommodating.
This place is over priced for what it is. Plenty of better options in the Bay Area.
I dined at Sula for lunch and dinner two times during my recent stay. The service is always incredible, and the food is consistent. Alex, who was our server for our last dinner, was amazing! It has a nice, relaxed atmosphere and is always enjoyable.
Wonderful Sunday brunch with friends overlooking the bay on a sunny warm day. Food and service were great, as always.
