The Trident offers a fabulous dining experience in a beautiful old building, featuring gorgeous stained glass and a stunning view right on the water. The food and drinks are outstanding, with particular praise for the fish and chips and cioppino, noted as some of the best in the area. The wait staff is generally attentive and friendly, although there have been mixed experiences with specific servers. The atmosphere is enhanced by the option to sit outside and enjoy the view of drifting sailboats. Guests have enjoyed large portions of salads and have found the overall experience to be very nice.
The Trident remains a popular choice for a delightful meal, with plans for return visits from satisfied customers. Guests have praised the excellent variety of fresh seafood, including pan seared Halibut and Abalone, both prepared perfectly. The views of the bay and San Francisco are spectacular, with opportunities to spot wildlife like pelicans, seals, and even dolphins. The Oysters are small but very fresh and rich, complemented by a delicious vinegar sauce, and the Shrimp po boy exceeded expectations. The Aperol spritzes are also highly recommended.
