To start off when I came in the decoration was very nice . the restaurant is very nicely dim lighted and the seats felt cozy. upon visit they immediately gave us a menu and chips and salsa. the salsa was all right could be spicier but however the chips were amazing cooked just right and salted perfectly . After they asked us for drinks and then gave us coca-Cola and lemonade. my kids have told me that the lemonade is very great. They then gave us enchiladas that looked really good. My kids have said they are good. I got carnitas and they looked good . How ever they put everything one the aside including tortillas, the meat , avocado , onions . And there were also tomatoes. I wish they brought them in built tacos but the ingredients looked and tasted fresh , overall everything else was nice , great family restaurant and I recommend it . 5 stars !!

Wow, was really surprised how much each dish was! My wife is a foodie and a love of Mexican food. She had the soft beef taco, the cheese was extra and the flavor was lack luster. I had a med chicken burrito, let's be honest it was a small burrito. The chicken was tender but also lacked flavor. I had water and my wife had a coke. Ok service, the service was good and all the servers and hosts were pleasant. The atmosphere was charming but needs to be updated. I understand its Scotts Valley and far from SF Mission or even The East Bay but a visual experience is crucial in today's food industry. The music was nice. Overall I give them 3 stars, but the wife only 2 stars. Parking was odd but plenty. Maybe update parking lines. Location is good. However updating visual branding from the main drag would help a great deal. Web site good navigation. However the food is why came. We may try again when we are in the area again.

Service was great. Food not so much. I got a super burrito. It was huge and I thought it was going to be awesome. I added steak for the upcharge and the stake was mostly flavorless except for the fact it had been burned. So didn't love it.

The soda was good. We were seated quickly, good customer service. Nice ambience. That's where the goodness ends. Two people $69.83 with tip. Super burrito with steak: steak was burnt, and otherwise flavorless. Halfway through the burrito but into something that tasted rotten, like it had gone bad or sour, stopped eating. $4.50 apple juice, no ice. Ordered 4 ground beef tacos, $20, watery and flavorless ground beef. We both started feeling unwell as soon as we left.

Went for a birthday dinner and was hugely disappointed. Wasn't many people there maybe 3tables at most. We ordered calamari, literal rubber texture. Had the tostadas weren't bad but didn't mention jalapeños on the menu so had to pick them out or vomit on the floor. Personal issue not theirs. Got a chimi with beef, it was crock pot chucks of roast beef. Also got the del Mar and it had the plastic left on the cheese slice.Unfortunately thee BEST thing about the restaurant was the salsa .. if you like super spicy and fresh chips. Staff walked by all customers that were staring waiting for menus or bills.For a new comer this is definitely NOT AUTHENTIC. nor is some of even able to be eaten. Worse 80 I've ever spent

Waitresses chatting behind the host stand and were very inattentive and rude. Food is so bland and disappointing but it was mostly the poor service we had that will keep us from coming back.

We went for a wedding rehearsal luncheon and had a buffet style meal. The cheese enchiladas and taquito were the biggest hit. Everything was ready and it all went well. I've just have had better carne asada. The drinks were pretty tasteless until I asked for more coconut and alcohol. All in all good experience.

After not getting chicken in my chicken tortilla soup to it being returned to me cold, this service was awful. When I asked the waitress what happened? She said she was busy. Four people were working in the restaurant, and we were the only customers eating in the dining area. I asked her what she would tip me if I had been her waitress? She replied she don't know? Rude and poor service. We have had enough of the poor treatment of this eastablishment. Do not be Hispanic and try to eat here, you will be treated worse then the help.
