Back again, as this is a regular spot for my family and I. Once again food didn't disappoint. I got my go-to roll which is the warriors roll. Coconut and pineapple sauce is such a great combo and would highly recommend. This time I did try a new menu item: the tofu salad. It was a fairly big salad for an appetizer, but I was a little disappointed in the dressing. Might have just been base we got takeout, but I personally think the dressing was a little bland. I would still highly recommend this restaurant as there are so many other delicious items on the menu to meet anyone's sushi cravings!

Customer service at front desk is poor. Picking up an order and person goes to get my already paid order and when some comes in the doo forgets me and helps them. Then Tiger mom who manages the place wants to charge extra for soy sauce and ginger. Like seriously one packet per adult? Very rude like they are the only sushi place in town. Food was so so and there are better places in town and we will not return. Otoro is much better unless you like rude workers.

Great service - happily greeted and server and all the staff were smiley and energetic. Me and two friends sat outside on the deck and chairs, table and bench were nice and clean. I ordered karage- fried tempura/tofu- and sashimi mix appetizers - karage was moist and crunchy - as were the tempura and fried tofu - sashimi was fresh and tasty and portions were great. My friends wife ordered a roll/salmon bento and it was delicious according to her and her husband had two big rolls which he enjoyed greatly. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food All in all definitely worth visiting

Wow! Incredible service! We went to the restaurant about 20 minutes before close to place a Togo order. I was worried they would not serve us because we were close to closing time but they were happy to. Everyone we interacted with was seriously so nice. Our order had to be customized because of multiple allergens. The two women taking our order took so much time and care to make sure everything was allergen free. Our food came out quick and when the woman brought it out to us she was smiling from ear to ear and seemed genuinely happy for us. It was such a pleasant experience the food was incredible as well. I cannot wait to dine in! Ten stars!

While visiting Scott's Valley, I came across Rumble Fish. Great menu! And the staff was very attentive. But I'm not sure what to do with the atmosphere. So much potential.The rolls are really good, with fresh fish and ingredients. Portions are dead on! Not too big or small. The albacore Sashimi was delicious!I would definitely recommend this place when you're in the area looking for sushi.

I used to visit Rumble Fish in college and had fond memories of their lunch bento boxes. I'm so glad the meal and visit lived up to what I remembered! On our way out of Santa Cruz, my husband and I stopped by Rumble Fish for a late lunch. We both ordered the lunch bento boxes - beef teriyaki and katsu for my husband and salmon teriyaki and a spicy tuna roll for me. Both boxes came with miso soup, rice and salad. The service was excellent and the food was so good! Generous and quality portions and I would happily visit again.

The food is always delicious. The staff treats you like you are their only customer . They have a wonderful outside patio area too. Great choice for lunch or dinner.

Food to go only. Labor shortage is making it difficult to reopen the restaurant in full.Had a talk with the great owner tonight. She's planning to open the patio!Still love the food in the place. Don't hesitate to try it... Been coming there for years. The staff still remembers me by first name even though I'm not necessarily a regular. I always get shrimp tempura pan, fried pot stickers or gyoza. And also hibachi appetizer... Love the place. I'll add photos next time
