Good pizza joint with thin crust & thicker crust options. The garden salad was a good portion & fresh also. Quick service & nice staff. Will be back again soon.

Our family just had an amazing experience at The Pizza Series! We had a birthday party there for my 3 year old and the staff and food were amazing! We had a great time :)

You can taste the quality of the ingredients and love put into every pie made at The Pizza Series. Matt and his staff are the incredibly nice and this restaurant’s become like a second home to me. Great beers on tap as well!!! Viva The Pizza Series!!!

If the food is made correctly, it is great. If something is not right, don't complain about it, because you will be met with frustration and rude comments and anger. They do not know how to do great customer service. I was talked over and my feelings ignored, and it made a small situation escalate very quickly into an explosive one on their part. I just wanted some sauce on my pizza. But, they made it my fault and devalued me as a customer. Didn't listen to a word I said and made assumptions.

All I wanted to know was if my pizza was supposed to have sauce? Because it didn't. I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza, first time trying it. Instead of being nice and checking into my situation they fiercely defended that they had made it right!! (without seeing it) I had dough, cheese and toppings, no bbq sauce, nothing that even remotely resembled a sauce.

I was kind and tried to explain, but was met with an increasingly pissed off manager and employee and as I tried to explain how they were making me feel as a customer. They screamed on the phone to me that I was banned. LOL ridiculous customer service PIZZA SERIES YOU CAN DO BETTER. LEARN TO BE KIND!!!!

Ordered the Pep & More pizza, Detroit style and it was a 10/10. The crust was crunchy and it had just the right amount of sauce. Each slice had the perfect amount of ricotta. The attention to detail to each slice was amazing. I’ll come back for more. Definitely worth it. They also have a cute outdoor patio area too.

FINALLY some decent food in Scotts Valley. I used to think Detroit style pizza was overrated but Pizza Series made me a believer. The Maple Special is absolutely brilliant; the sweet and creamy sauce perfectly balances out the Serrano.

Really good pizza. If you’re a decent tipper look to spend around $40 for one Detroit style pizza. The pizza with maple (not listed below) was delicious.

Five stars in spite of some issues, some self inflicted and some "acts of God".
Ordered a large round (NY style) didn't seem very NY style, crust was unique but still good. Loved the sausage but the cup pepperoni... not so much. I know cup pepperoni are the standard but too greasy and salty for me.
Also ordered a large Detroit style ricotta, garlic, and spinach pizza. Forgot I don't really like ricotta until I was eating it. The crust was fluffy, and because the toppings were mild the other flavors really came through like the tomato sauce and garlic. Very good!
Ordered two beers but both smelled of bleach. I’m happy they were clean but I don’t like smelling bleach while I’m drinking a beer.
Sat outside, we were constantly divebombed by flies and bees. Super annoying. Also, we got there just after opening on a weekday, kids from the local school started pouring in at about 12:30.
So, long story short, Next time I would order one of their specialty pizzas, probably a Detroit style without the ricotta, sit inside and drink something out of a bottle. Very good pizza here we just didn’t have as good of an experience as we should have.

It’s hard when your reference point comes pizza spot in the central Phoenix area. It’s a bit overpriced for an okay pizza. The sauce is a little bland but it was cooked well. The wings were cooked perfect - buffalo sauce is a little sweet and unique but not bad. Friendly staff and cool outside seating - great beer and wine selections.
