Had the moa crisp sandwich and it was terrible, chicken was so overcooked that the bacon couldn’t save it and the fries just don’t work. Something funky about them that made them unappealing. Burger was just ok. Anyway, we won’t be coming back.

The family took my Gma n' Grumpa here their 50th Golden Jubilee. What a wonderful experience. The staff was so nice and friendly. Great food and service. I give them 10 out of 5 stars. Keep up the good work, guys, and gals!!

I will always love Islands. I am writing this review while sitting here salivating over my sliders that I just put in. My favorite items are the Hawaiian, cheese fries, RANCH, and garlic aioli. I will never have anything bad to say about Islands, specifically their Seal Beach location. I also highly recommend the Chocolate Lava. Everything is heavenly and is reminiscent of Ecclesiastes 9:7.7. Bless Islands!

The service was atrocious. Ashley was our waitress. Never paid attention to us. She took our order and we waited at least 20 minutes for our appetizer. Meanwhile, she took another table's order and their food arrived well before ours. We have a bottomless soup but she never came back when we asked for a refill, except to drop off our check. And we asked again and she disappeared for a good 10 more minutes only to come by and say oh its ready. She just forgot. We told her to forget it - to her obvious relief. Food was bland at best. HB Islands is 100X better.

This time around we were disappointed. In the past, we've enjoyed their burgers and salads. I can't say that now. It's become more expensive and their menu has changed with slightly fewer items. Our server tonight didn't seem like she was in a hurry. I've heard of the laid back tropical attitude, but she took it literally. Her section was not completely full either. On top of that, we had to ask her to refill our water whereas other servers in other places are attentive to that. Even more so on top of that, she left our empty water cups on the table. It was getting crowded on there. The food- my wife ordered the Kaanapali Salad and noted that the portion size is smaller than it used to be. I ordered the Kilauea Burger and wanted to be adventurous and try it with the impossible patty. It was just ok. I did notice that the amount of black pepper was overpowering. We are in agreement that we won't go back for a while. Very disappointed.

I ordered the soup and salad lunch special. The price was under $10, but serving size was small and blah tasting. Waiter was very friendly & helpful.

They never get my order correct. For example, I'll specify that I want a well-done burger and they continuously deliver a burger that's cooked medium at best or I'll specify no avocado in the tortilla soup and they'll put avocado in it anyway. This has happened several times over the last couple years but tonight I thought I would give them another try and was disappointed yet again. I very likely won't be back.
Okay food terrible service. They forgot one of our orders multiple times. Frustrating. It’s off our restaurant rotation for awhile. Oh well…

I ordered the soft tacos ?At $5 a taco (14.99 for the 3 taco plate)not impressed.Very skimpy on the ingredients.The bar tender was great but the cook was lazy with my tacos.the onion rings, burgers are great and the bar is cool for sports on the big TV above the bar.

Came for lunch. Usually this brand is pretty good. This time I came the fries tasted stale and the burger wasn't as good as it normally is. Service was good. Was helped quickly. Really sad that it didn't satisfy my cravings and will likely not return for awhile.
