Best Katsu Chicken I’ve ever had along with beers on tap. Nice small quiet place which was exactly what I needed to relax.

Definitely not authentic hawaiian food. It was my first time here and I was not a fan. Ordered the chicken wings in spicy sauce, garlic fries, spam musubi and chicken katsu. The wings were pretty dry and coated maybe once in whatever sauce they used. I actually thought they gave me regular fries instead of garlic fries bc I could NOT taste nor see any garlic lol but the waitress told me they were in fact garlic fries. Oddly the chicken katsu didn't come with your basic katsu sauce, but i was offered ketchup as my dipping sauce for it. The spam musubi was literally just spam, rice and seaweed wrap........there was no added teriyaki/soy sauce and the spam wasn't fried . Aside from the food lacking flavor and taste, our waitress was great. I will def be back to give this place another chance but so far it was just not my fave!

Went to spend a couple hours at the beach with my family and came here for some spam masubi. Was really surprised with the delightful choices of everything else on the menu. My kids were asking for shrimp shumai, pork shumai for my husband, teriyaki burrito for my other daughter and spring rolls for me. So from 3 spam masubi....to all that and 2 glasses of Chardonnay, our tummies were really satisfied. We will definitely be back, great service outdoors in the front. The menu is impressive...coming back to try our all time favorite Loco Moco!!

Mediocre food for a premium price. I got the island chicken and pork katsu. The island chicken was done in some generic batter and the chicken was not marinated at all. The katsu was paper thin and there was something not right about the sauces. The mac salad had mustard in it, which I've never seen in any Hawaiin restaurant I've been to.Wanted to give this place a try, don't think I'll go back.

On our way for a slice of pizza on Main and found this little gem! On Main! Great food and service! Clean, friendly staff at a nice little place!

This was a delicious find-I've walked by it many times the past few months and finally stopped in. My poke bowl was so fresh and perfectly proportioned for lunch -nice presentation. Excellent service . I'll be back for sure.

Clean and cozy restaurant close to the beach on main street. We ordered kalbi short ribs plate with rice and potato salad. Spam musubi, siomai & Vietnamese fried egg rolls. Good portion and tasty! They also have a full bar. Friendly atmosphere, great service and most of all, I appreciate a clean bathroom. Thank you! We definitely will come back.

COVID19: Open for Dine-In and Take-Out. (Servers wear masks) In the former location of Basil Leaf and some other burger joint. We hope this place sticks around for awhile. Nice casual Hawaiian/Asian food place. The food is so good and the service so friendly that the chef from a restaurant a couple doors down is a regular here. Kayli was our server, an enthusiastic blond waitress that is full of great suggestions from their extensive menu. And while it's the middle of COVID19 and many diners have not ventured out yet. The owner and chef have managed to keep quality up by focusing on part of the menu. Some items are currently not available. But, there's still lots of delicious dishes here. The chicken teriyaki bowl comes with a choice of thigh or breast meat. I got the breast meat and was pleasantly surprised. Nicely seasoned and the chicken was juicy and flavorful. My wife had spring rolls that were larger than most we've had. And rivaled the tastiest and freshest of any other spring roll in Orange County. Now for the steamed shrimp dumplings. I didn't know they were on the menu and didn't know they were coming (wife ordered them) she is a big fan of Dim Sum at Din Tai Fung. And with the first bite she said, "wow! These are good"). We may have found a go to place for shrimp dumplings instead of standing in line for and hour and a half in Costa Mesa at DTF. A group of Arizonans at the table next to us was going crazy. It looked like they ordered everything on the menu and sounded like it was all good. Refreshing tropical guava, mango or other drinks compliment the food. And they've also got a bar with beer, wine and sake. Once the world opens back up I'm sure this will become another great local place to eat. Oh and the pricing...very reasonable! Give them a try. We will be back for this delicious casual Hawaiian/Asian dining (I'm going back for the pineapple fried rice and Kalbi short ribs!)

Maybe they don't do takeout well or maybe I ordered the wrong thing. I threw away over half. The Kailua pork egg rolls were super greasy, soggy and flavorless. They could have been anything-certainly didn't taste kailua or pork. No crunch at all either. The Korean BBQ ribs were the biggest disappointment because they're a bit pricey. They were so tough I couldn't break them down by chewing...and chewing...and chewing. The person who took my order and bagged it up was super friendly. Again maybe to-go isn't their thing.

This place went above and beyond service during this Covid-19 craziness. Staff was extremely friendly and made things so much easier and relaxed. The best Katsu sauce I've had to date. I will definitely be returning next time I'm in the area.
