Thursday nights are date night for us a Kobe's The bands are always entertaining, the ambiance is great and the servers are amazing. They manage to get you your food while weaving through dancers and a tight seating arrangement in the lounge. We always order the japanese noodle dish. The sauce is to die for. However, the chicken and shrimp are always dry and rubbery, like they've been in the microwave for too long. This review is in hopes that they'll change that issue. Want to keep them as my go to date night place.

Visiting this is my first time visiting this restaurant. The bar area is pretty small but the bartenders were very attentive. While waiting for the rest of our family to arrive, We seen the van setting up and while we were eating our food we were able to hear them play, and they sounded amazing. I would go back to hear the band. I was expecting a show, but our chef hardly spoke, or really entertained us. A few times I asked questions and he didn't say anything. Then when I repeated myself, he said I heard you. Being that it's a fairly loud restaurant, and he gave me no sort of response. I thought he couldn't hear me and I needed to repeat myself. most of us got steak and some sort of seafood. I asked for a medium steak and it was nowhere near medium. It was well done. The only reason why I would come back is to listen to the band. Overall, my experience was blah. Our server was a nice guy but the service was pretty slow. One majority of our family got regular tapwater we asked for bottled water, and it took forever for us to get that. And drinks were coming out slow.

Had a great experience. The teppanyaki chef was extremely entertaining and the food was cooked perfectly. Cocktails were really good as well. Highly recommended but make a reservation.

My family and I visited Kobe Steakhouse on our vacation to California. After a long day, we wanted to try a cool restaurant and came across this teppanyaki restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive, I didn't quite catch his name, but he was amazing. However, we had a chef by the name Tim I believe. Firstly, he came in with much attitude like he did not want to be there. To top it off, his cooking was super bland and not flavorful. I am a very generous customer and I understand the frustrations that come with working a restaurant, I own some back home! But this chef in particular... TIM is one of the worst chefs I've come across in my career. I can imagine the way he treats others with such attitude for a young man. No smile whatsoever from him and just straight answers. What really got me upset was when he was very outspoken at another table he cooked nearby us. Please do us all a favor and get this horrible chef out!

Food portion very small and we all had steak very tough not much flavor, shrimp and scallops small.A lot of money we would not go back. They did have a live band that was very good.

This use to be our favorite place for celebrations. We need a new spot. The prices for the quality and presentation do not match up. The teppanyaki chef seemed bored and was not very interactive at all. The server was nice and attentive. For almost $200 for a party of 4 and no alcohol-it wasn't worth it and wasn't an experience to remember or return to.

The food is great, and the service is a little slow. It could be that they were understaffed or overbooked since we waited nearly 30 minutes with a reservation. It took 15 minutes to receive a glass for a beer. The pleasant demeanor of the staff made up for the delays. I'm sure we'll be back again.

Great food and the live entertainment was amazing. Way better than the competition. We walked in and there was no wait!

Great live entertainment and great food. Atmosphere was lovely. Drinks need a little more kick to them, margarita wasn't all that good.

Very disappointing. The chef that prepared our hibachi was rude and wasn't very good. The vegetables and sauces tasted off. The meat and seafood were prepared ok. Not what it used to be.

The food was amazing, I have NEVER had a bad dish here... I love the Sea Food Pasta, and the Sushi is always Super Fresh! The Service is usually very quick, I'll admit it can be hectic sometimes, but they are always moving trying to pay attention to everyone! The ambiance is very loungey-cozy, warm and the people are friendly. The music is off the hook though! I love this spot for the Funk and R&B!!!
