Really enjoyed my experience here. It had been nearly 15 years since I'd been here but it was just as good as I remembered. Pro tip: go on a Tuesday. Wine and sake were 50% off because...Tuesday! A good meal with good friends. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely go again the next time I'm in the area!

Everything is amazing! Only gripe they play music way too loud. It makes any kind of conversation while eating difficult.

I have absolutely no idea how this place is rated so highly. I do get the sense that the bar is a pretty great place for locals to hang and have some halfway decent food & drinks but both time I went here, it suuuuuuuuucked.
First time, we just left after sitting at the table for 20 minutes and nobody had brought us water yet, never mind taken an order.
The second time was for a birthday dinner. Food took forever and was average at best. Tasted like it had been sitting around for a while yet the fish was dry and overcooked.
It’s on my “definitely do not return” list.

3.5 stars to be exact.
We’ve been coming to Mahe for years since we live nearby, and it’s always been a favorite. Lately though, it hasn’t been quite as good, which is disappointing. The filet has been coming out dry (even when ordered medium rare), and the sides feel rushed with little presentation.
On the positive side, the sushi is still solid—and worth noting they offer an all-you-can-eat option at the sushi bar during a short daily window (haven’t tried it yet, but plan to). The atmosphere is rad—coastal, casual, and community-driven, which I love.
For now, the sushi and vibe will keep me coming back, but I may have to get my steak fix elsewhere unless things turn around.

Mediocre sushi, affordable prices.
My first and last time here. I ordered all you can eat (for $37) and the cook has not even tried to hide how disappointed he was (probably cause I came 10 minutes before 6pm). If you still wanna try their sushi, I do not recommend ordering “all you can eat”. And not because of his behavior, but cause he slices the fish too thin in comparison with the size of rice pieces. I have ended up with all you can eat rice with very small amount of fish.
The service was good: professional and friendly (except his reaction).

We love this restaurant and go here about once a week for the best fresh seafood. The Caesar salad comes with a beautiful dressing, chilled fork chilled bowl croutons very crispy. Clam chowder is always just right not too thick not too thin very creamy. Great flavor. The sushi and the sashimi of course is their forte. The fish and chips is shrimp and fish and a wonderful light batter. Our favorite is the baked scallops wrapped with crab and bacon. But you’ve got to try The sushi made of Ahi and mahi, along with asparagus and avocado bits. Just the right amount of aïoli sauce dribbled across the top. Bon appétit!

Sushi was amazing. All 3 rolls we had were some of the best we’ve ever had. Our server Ryan was very friendly and attentive
