Having an very good Italian Deli/Bakery in my neighborhood for most of my life, it went out of business. SFI is the next best Italian place I've found. Surprising it has a sandwich place in the same area because SFI has a better selection of Italian goodies & food. By far, this is the first stop for miles if you are looking for Italian food. Its not a full fledged restaurant but it has much the same offerings, if not more than a restaurant. Highly recommended but then I like Italian food.Parking: Shopping Center parking

This place is getting worse the day. First of all, it's an Italian deli, which serves albondigas Mexican soup. It was the worst albondigas soup I've ever tasted, and I have tasted many. The side order of meatballs were burned. I won't be going back to this place. The service was excellent. The two ladies and the male employees were very nice served quickly and with a smile. It's too bad the food is not good anymore. Zero for the food ! 5 stars for your employees! Give them a raise maybe they will cook better soup and meatballs ! Get rid of the soup it's oily is over seasoned & not albondigas soup!

I absolutely love this place! This is the best Italian sandwich I ever had(called the Special)! The meat, cheese, veggies to bread ratio was perfect. The bread has light crisp to it but once you bite into it, it's so soft and delicious. I highly recommend! I've also tried to manacotti here and it was fantastic too! Can't wait to try other menu items. Service was fast and friendly too.

I'm a foodie and I love Santa Fe Importers. We have pizza party nights and I make the crust and sauce, but only SFI cheese, sausage, meats, etc can match my effort. They make their own sausage, cheese etc. and their prices are great too. I buy my olive oil, pizza flour and pasta flour from SFI.

This is the classic, old world, Italian home made food. The Italian beef sandwich was world class! The Wednesday special was sausage and meatball pasta. It looked wonderful.The service was fast and friendly. The place has the ambiance of...a deli! Surprise! Our table held our food efficiently.Come and eat their wonderful authentic dishes. Buy great stuff from the deli case!MANGA!

Located on industrial Santa Fe Ave, they have a free parking lot. One large building is their wholesale grocery business and the smaller building next door is their retail Italian grocery. Well stocked. They even carry my favorite brand of imported Italian espresso.Their sandwiches ROCK. Large with super fresh bread and cold cuts. One large sub is enough for 3 servings. More than just the size, the quality is spot on. One of my favroite eateries in all of Long Beach.

Santa Fe Imports is always good. We've never had a bad meal there. Last time I had manicotti with meatballs and it was fabulous. The staff are very nice and knowledgeable. We always do tAkeout because if we ate inside the place, I'd end up buying way to many things from their selection of products on the shelves.

Authentic Italian food, reasonably priced for the quality! My husband was raving about his cold sandwich. My pasta with sausage was pretty amazing. I know good Italian -- I grew up eating it. My grandma, aunts and mom taught me how to cook it. I'll be coming here more often!
The best sandwiches around!! Oh my goodness. And their signature dressing that is drizzled on the sandwiches are to die for. Consistently excellent service and product. They have cases of foods that you can take home to for warm up later. My favorite deli hands down.

First time at this location. Like the other locations it is a Italian grocery store that sells both hot & cold food. Girlfriend ordered a pizza and enjoyed it and would come back and order it again. Ordered two sandwiches and while good tasted plain. Bread was soft. Plenty of parking. Not too long a wait for lunch.
