We started with a cup of clam chowder, It was delicious.Then I had the ahi tuna sandwich with fries it was amazing.My date had steamed mussels and they were a hit and the server was very nice….
Food was ok, but lunch for 2 with decent tip hit $120, and we didn't even have drinks. The clam chowder was a little runny for my taste. The 2 crab cakes were small and flavorless, and $28. Won't be ordering that again. The molten Chocolate Bomb dessert was the best thing we had, followed by the free bread.
There are a few restaurants where being there is part of the pleasure. Walt’s has a vibe however silly that may read. Friendly. Inviting. Comfortsble. Welcoming staff. Then you get to the service and food. To me this is a very special place. Food is excellent. Timing is excellent. Staff is quality. Prices are not cheap. You pay some. But the experience is very positive. Wines and beers are diverse. Just one of those places you look forward to coming back and feel warm smiles...
