I've been eating here for years now after a friend introduced me to the place. The owner and staff are friendly and accommodating, the vibe is casual. Although it can be crowded at times and parking can be tricky, it's worth the effort.
The standout is the food. I love Mexican food and this is one of my two all-time favorite spots. The menu includes most, if not all, of the usual items -- but features several items not found in every Mexican restaurant: Yucatan Fish Pot, Lobster and Crab Enchiladas (served separately, not mixed together), and Yucatan Barbecue Street Tacos, to name a few of my favorites. They also serve saffron rice as a side dish, and offer seven desserts if you still have room after your meal. Just don't get there before I do and take the last booth!

I was excited to find a restaurant that serves Yucatán style Mexican food in the Long Beach Area. We moved here recently and had a favorite at our former town. The food was good. I had Panuchos. They weren’t as good as the ones at the restaurant at our previous home. The sopa de Lima soup had less of the bright lime flavor than I expected but was served beautifully with a small salad and rice on the side. I added extra lime juice on my own. Service was great.

Place was a good restaurant when in Rossmoor. New location not so much. Chips always stale. Food expensive and mediocre at best. Manager is such a rude arrogant jerk we cancelled our order and left. Will never go back.
