Let me start off by saying the people who helped me were very friendly and definitely gave off that that family vibe the moment you walk in.I purchased 4 meals and spent a little over $140. What I didn't like is the menu online does not match what they actually sell. The lady who took my order although also very nice was very frustrating because 4 of the items I wanted were no longer available so I settled for chicken. I was expecting fried chicken but got some chicken wings that just did not look good at all. I was mad I paid all the money for that. But what is saving this rating was the sides are amazing I got greens,yams, corn bread, Mac and cheese. They really need to update their menu. Being the only soul food restaurant any where close to me I wish they would offer the typical soul food items so Im not settling for just what was there.

sorry but yall catfish is not it..tiny small
pieces ..over priced..and they are just plain rude …southern hospitality is missing and the food just ain’t it!!!!

looking at everyone else catfish i feel like i got hated on!! sis in the kitchen gave me a tiny peice..i hope it’s not jealousy because im young and beautiful 0/10 recommend

I visiting from NC so was very excited to find a soul food restaurant, however I was gravely disappointed with this oxtail dinner, the rice was uncooked, no seasoning and the green beens tasted burnt… paid over 6 bucks for cornbread that was smaller than a deck of cards. Mac n what lord have mercy please people be honest with these reviews so the restaurant manager can get better chefs. The only reason they got a one star is because the uber driver was very nice so in short the real review is a zero…. I hope this review will help management look in to correcting outcome of these meals because I love good food but I hate wasting my money!!!! Just do better or do something else

What is there not to love! The fried catfish, collard greens and okra were a hit. A side of cornbread was the icing on the cake! Mood was set with a solid DJ spinning some Marley family tunes to set the mood

Ordered a rib plate during Exotics On Broadway. They got me with the grill smell drifting up the block as I was snapping photos of cars. They were crispy and delicious!

I have been to deja blue several times, but the last time was comedy night, the comedian's were to notch and funny as he!l.
Then the following morning, my wife and I went to all you can eat breakfast,all you can eat fried chicken and other breakfast items were worth every bite.

What little service I did get was horrible. First of all, couldn't find what SoCal had 5000 menus made me wait almost 15 minutes just to print out a menu when I finally get to look at the menu and ask they're out of half the food on the menu, no no. And no I don't even understand how Black-owned restaurants? Make you feel like you doing them a favor frustrated and over it
