Sometimes it's good, other times it sucks, occasionally it makes you violently ill. It's cheap, available, and is all you can eat.

first day of school and guess what I wake up violently ill. Had to go to HCOM worrying that I would have to rush to the bathroom at any given moment. The only edible thing here is the cookies and the salad. I shouldn't have eaten that sausage yesterday for breakfast. the amount of money I'm paying for a meal plan is not worth it when Starbucks and the otter express are right next door. I guess the place is clean but my bathroom isn't after I ate here.

For cafeteria food it's not bad. Huge omelets. Lots of choices All you can eat for less than $8

There was no restroom. The food was fairly good, American style breakfast, fountain drinks, a disk rack to put your used plates and cups away, a unique experience.

FOOD POISONING. Do not come here unless you want food poisoning. Do not eat any meat especially.

It offered well balanced food options

It's okay but the food is very repetitive.

I ate food when I needed it. So the positive is that I didn't starve. But thank God I live off campus and don't have to pay for a meal plan. Sure the food is sustainable but it lacks flavor and makes me sad. We said \\\"its not horrible...\\\" many times while eating.. that's not what you want.

I love the food, the staff and the atmosphere here! It makes me feel like I scored big time and eating with the rich community. There's only 2 complaints I have for it: 1. It could use more Gluten and Dairy Free Foods 2. Change the menu website, when using the Google Menu Other than that, I come here every Wednesday and Thursday. Way different than Fresno Cafeteria, that's for sure. My favorite foods are the hamburger patties, grilled chicken, French Fries, Tater tots and Hash brown patties (fried), Ham/Canadian Bacon, Pork Link sausages and bacon, ratatouie and Pico Di Galo Refried Beans! I personally recommend this - but that choice is yours.

not a large variety of options if you eat there every day, and the health department needs to take a closer look because everyone gets food poisoning. A poll of 100 students shows 63 of them have gotten food poisoning from the DC at least once and I personally get food poisoning once a month. Someone just today, 4/12/22, claims they saw someone get served moldy bread and the staff just pulled off the slices that had visible mold once they noticed. The student staff brags about intentionally serving apples that’ve been dropped on the floor, and they pull pizzas out of the oven using the rag they use to clean dishes. Last semester someone found a worm in their broccoli. Avoid the Dining Commons at all costs, and avoid a meal plan too if you can.

The DC is one big Russian roulette for food poisoning. CSUMB obligates students in certain buildings to take a meal plan because there is no kitchen. However obligation people to pay over $3.000 per semester for this shitty food is insane. I've had molded hamburgers & bagels, rotten tomatoes & raw chicken, just in the past week alone. I've contacted CSUMB multiple times about this situation but until now still no response. CSUMB takes 0 responsibility for this place.

Food poisoning, bugs, and overcooked food. it's real bad. i'd give it a 0 but that's not possible so i give it a 1

Not a student here, but I love dining commons food so whenever I'm in the area I like to come here for the all-you-can-eat selections of pizza, burgers, pasta and unlimited soda. This place's job is to provide students with simple carbs that can supercharge their brains for studying, so of course the food is not going to be the best quality. But for less than $20, who's complaining?
