Loved the place, this was out first time to Monterey bay. Wife said no to the Lentil soup, tasted mine and all I got was a couple of spoon fulls. The vegetables were HOT, yet still had crunch. Meal was awesome, Georgie, our waiter was a good conversationalist. Wife certainly over tipped him, gladly. Nice ambience, laid back.

Absolutely love Googie Grill. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The staff were welcoming and fast, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and local. A definite Monterey favorite. Five stars.

Our server today was Gladys, who was friendly, professional and efficient! We were a party of 5 and she took care of us flawlessly.
We ordered the beignets, they were delicious! I enjoyed their chilaquiles, which were perfectly prepared. Mr. Wonderful ordered the crab-cake Benedict and cleaned his plate.
