Huge menu with very filling plates! The waitresses were super attentive and our food came out quickly, even though it was pretty busy around 1 pm on a Monday. I tried the Caldo 7 Mares and the Molcajete Oaxaqueño — both were absolutely delicious! I’ve also had their Coffee Cake and it’s a 10/10 — so moist and full of flavor. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re ever in the Seaside area!
After 6 visits, I can tell you that La Tortuga is the perfect place to grab breakfast or lunch (I haven't yet tried dinner but I definitely will). The sandwiches are really excellent! Great balance of flavors, generous portions, and they don't skimp on the meat. The breakfast sandwiches are big enough for two meals - I eat half and save the other half for lunch. Food was fantastic and had generous portion sizes. We ordered takeout and had a large group order and they didn’t miss a beat. Even helped pack it in the car. Would definitely recommend
