GREASY GREASY carne asada. No flavor, over cooked, greasy, just terrible. Chile Verde is disgusting. Chips are cold, straight out of a bag, not homemade and they charge for extra salsa. My partner said it was the worst Mexican food he's ever had. Totally disappointing.

I wanted to like it. It has good reviews and seemed decent enough. I ordered online and went to pick up my food. I got the chicken chile relleno and a quesadilla. My food wasn’t ready when I went to pick it up but that’s fine. Cool. I waited a bit then received my food, the lady at the front gave me a free soda for waiting which was nice. I’m pretty disappointed the food wasn’t though. My chile relleno was small, had no chicken, and they smothered half of it with beans and also gave me even more beans on the side. (No rice as they were out so I got plain unsalted fries) I’m pretty sure it was microwaved too, it was watery and hard to even cut. I ended up eating the small pepper in one bite and was left with all breading and beans. Just not want I’d expect for 18$. The quesadilla was pretty mid too. Not even cut into sections and burnt on the bottom. Cold too. Salsa had no flavor along with the beans. Just really disappointed. I guess seaside has no authentic mexican food. Maybe the tacos are what’s good here. But this wasn’t worth the 25 bucks.

I arrived late... 9:50 they close at 10:00 PM, the owner was at the register. I asked if I could still order food. The lady asked me if I wanted the food to go. I said sure... I was really hungry. I work in Carmel Valley and had been working all day. I order the shrimp soup which I really like. Then she said I should eat it in the lobby... Which surprised me cause they were closing. I order a couple of tacos as an appetizer... Lol I know I eat a lot... She brought me nachos n salsa.... still The tacos were fenomenal!! To tell u the truth.... The tacos by themselves would have been enough, they were so big, and the salsa very good!. I am a man of my word so I still ate the soup ... Left u guys a few pics... The soup takes a bit cause the meats are cooked fresh!! Would recommend it to anybody out there!!!

I Love Taco Tuesday and I've been looking for a fun place to enjoy an affordable and tasty Taco Tuesday,.. and I finally found my spot! I went here for my birthday and we had a great time! The tacos were so good! They have many weekly specials and a variety of salsa options. Also we especially appreciated the birthday chocolate flan. There is ample parking and a tv ias well. We will definitely be back !

Me and my girlfriend were craving pozole on a Sunday we were driving through seaside and saw this restaurant it gave me a red flag the place was empty for a Sunday afternoon I gave it a shot but I would not go back the pozole tasted like it was cooked two or three days ago I was worried I would get sick because they sell pozole everyday it made me wonder how often do they cook a fresh pot of pozole I wouldn't go back to spend another 40$

The service was above and beyond. The food was great! Good proportions for the price & the taste was absolutely amazing. This restaurant has truly been the closest I’ve found to my mother’s cooking, who is also originally from Michoacan, MX. If I didn’t have an impatient toddler with me at all times, you would find me here at least twice a week! Can’t wait to go back

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Monterey. I’ve been coming here for a couple of months now and I am always welcomed by a very friendly staff who also happens to know my order by heart. This place has never failed to disappoint me. The food is great and the taco Tuesday deal is a steal. Love love love Las Marias.
