Long overdue for the 5* Come here every time I visit from Sacramento. Great food, great atmosphere, fantastic owner!! She goes above and beyond! Do yourself a favor and come check this place!
The horchata at Las Marías is absolutely delicious! The nachos and veggie burrito were also delicious! The burrito fed me for two days 😅😋 The service and ambiance are wonderful. I love the wooden picture that decorate the restaurant and would love to have an event here or large gathering. This place has it all; amazing customer service, great food, great atmosphere. I left so happy and well fed that I actually left my wallet at the restaurant. I had totally forgotten about it and Susana went above and beyond and reached out to me. I can't wait to go back!

I ordered food to go. The staff were extremely rude and curt with me. We ordered nachos with carnitas, carnitas torta, and carne asada tacos. Two bites into the carnita dishes and we had to stop. Pure salt that left everyone nauseous. I had higher hopes for the tacos, nope, just more salt. This was a very expensive experience of disappointment.

2 big problems: - They discretely add a “custom item 1” menu item to your bill that is NOT an item you order. We only noticed because we asked for a receipt and were looking at it later. When we asked what this was, we were told this was a tip. It was about 20% of the bill. However, we left an actual tip - and the receipt provides suggested tip percentages which are based off the new total INCLUDING the tacked on “custom item” tip. This is an illegal practice as it is not clear on the menu there is a “service charge”. Asking for a tip on top of the artificially inflated total is a crime. - We have waited over an hour and have not received our food. When we ask, we are told they are short staffed and “it’s coming.”

Came in around 6pm for dinner. You go up to a counter and order. I ordered the Thursday special, which was three birria tacos and some chips and salsa for $10.99. I also ordered a small horchata. Not sure why there weren't more people eating. Only two other tables. My food was brought in short order by a friendly server. I have to say the birria tacos and dip were amazingly good. They are big and full of tasty meat and cheese. I should have only eaten two, but man, so good and well seasoned, I finished the last taco as well. This place should be packed.

Great restaurant to eat at! The food was really good, came out nice and warm with lots of food ok the plate. If you're ever in seaside and need a good atmosphere and good food please stop by and fill up.
The best spot to get tacos in the Monterey area. My friend comes here every Tuesday and pays cash for his pastor and chicken tacos and has a great time. Price is great, atmosphere is fire. Try the hot chili oil on the table at your own risk!

Food was bland ordered enchiladas were supposed to come with rice but they were out of rice so they gave me fries that were soggy. Food was all over the floor not very clean and was pricey for low quality.

This place is 5 stars period. Food is good, prices fair, but what what truly makes this place stand out is the owner! 🥰 She is very kind and generous and funny, like your favorite Auntie! Also they have a set special for every day of the week, so between that and the best service, we will be coming back over and over again!
