The sweet pans are delicious and a must try, when we got there, they were all freshly baked! Only complaint I have is the tamales, they were not cooked properly, thus they were dry, and I believe the corn husks that wrap around the tamale were not washed before steaming so the taste of dry dusty husk was strong within the tamale.Parking: Parking was fairly easy to find.

Service: I would give a 3-4 star because people working that day were not very helpful, and seem irritated I was ordering food. i was there at 5:40, they seem to close at 6. (i dont believe the timeframe was too bad to not receive proper help, and i was unaware that it closes at 6). Ordered two burritos with asada. Food: the burritos were ok, the quantity was very nice. But unfortunately there were a bunch of chunky fatty meats in them. Dont know if this was correlated with the above. 1-2 piece i would understand but a couple in each was not great. (Confirmed by other person who ate the 2nd burrito)

I was so excited to try this place, I follow on instagram and decided to pick up some treats for my anniversary, I got a mini cake , and some bread, I was very disappointed upon leaving , the staff was rude to me , I could tell they overcharged me on the mini cake , I asked how much, one lady looked at another and made a face and charge me 25$ for the mini cake , it was just plain pink frosting no decoration or design , I knew they were ripping me off , I honestly walked out of there thinking I’m never coming back here , I drove to Safeway , same size mini cakes that’s were very cute were 15$ . Items do need to have price tags , it’s very unfortunate because the bread I got was supper good , but the expensive was not worth me driving 34 min for , forgot to mention I drove 34 min just to try this place .

Living in Salinas was great because it was so close to the ocean. And close to so many fine restaurants. And this being one if them, I was occasionally seen in here enjoying some of their great food. I really liked the burrito bowl. In fact it my favorite dish served up here. And those Mecican desserts are delicious. That was the main thing that brought me here. Always loved this place.

I can't recommend Lupitas bakery enough. My husband and I LOVE going for their tortas, and of course their pan dulce too. The workers are always so sweet and friendly. They made a delicious tres leches cake for my mom's birthday, it was a big & customized order but they made it stress free for me. I love this place and have recommended them to others!

Love this bakery! Hidden gem in Monterey and so much better than Starbucks or a tourist trap bakery. My one suggestion would be to make a better breakfast burrito. People would come all the time if you make a great breakfast burrito. The one they make is OK but here are some suggestions: o. Make the bacon crispy o. Use potatoes over rice o. Offer a choice of the type of cheese, cheddar, jack, blend o. Add avocado or guacamole With these changes I would come everyday for a breakfast burrito! o.
Came here on a late night right before they were about to close & even though the burrito section of the store was already cleaned up and closed, the woman still opened it back up and took our order with a smile. Delicious food & beautiful shop! Grateful that we found this spot, thank you so much!!

Great customer service and a variety of delicious food/treats to choose from. If you actually know how authentic mexican food taste like, you will definitely be satisfied. Hidden gem for sure. We stopped by for a quick bit and we got just what we were looking for. The regular burrito is shareable and very tasty. We ordered it with chorizo con papas and a torta with chile verde. Soooo good! The chile verde reminded me of my moms cooking. Much recommended and a cute spot to get some nice pictures. It's decorated nicely and very clean.

This place is SO underrated. Everything is so good, so fresh, the staff is so friendly, this is my go to spot in Seaside. The tortas, the rolled tacos, the green juice, everything is fantastic.
