Just a basic donut place. Nothing fancy. It was just okay at best.

Very bad service 3 times in a row. We wanted to like them because the donuts are great, but I can’t support an establishment that treats you like trash every time. The majority of the customers are Hispanic which is completely normal and fine, but it is not fine to give preferential treatment to Hispanic customers that sneak up to the front of the line. The last 3 times I’ve gone I’ve been standing in line out the door just to see someone who walked up after me get taken care of before me. I can’t stomach to give this place another cent after my experiences with them

More than donuts. They have bagel breakfast sandwiches which are very affordable compared to Monterey.
Limited seating, but very efficient cooks so can handle plenty of takeout orders.

its a beer life

Swung by here for a donut while in Monterey. It was busy and looked like a local favorite.

The donuts and coffee were fabulous. Fresh and tasty.

Staff was busy but helpful and assisting when needed.

Parking can get a little tight.

Red's has been a famous name when it comes to local donut shops in Monterey county. Unfortunetly when the family members of the original Red's donut shop decided to sell everything from thereon the business has gone downhill. The current owners who now own Red's are a family from El Salvador. These owners and their family aren't friendly nor are they customer oriented. The female owner Rosa is rude and not patient and her husband in my opinion is just kind of slow and goofy. Their daughter Erika who is the manager is just not friendly.
The donuts nowadays are terrible. They have a rancid after taste and just aren't any good. I honestly believe these people are prejudice and that they now cater more to the Hispanic community. It is sad to see such a good old donut shop flushed down the toilet. The old charm and history has all been washed away.

Absolute best donuts in the area. I try to stop in whenever I'm working near by.

Fresh and delicious!

The most unfriendly bakery I’ve ever been to. The donuts were not any better than a typical grocery store donut. The staff was very rude.
We were treated very poorly.

Came here on 11/25 and my family and I were served soggy and wet donuts. They were really disappointing and we ended ip tossing them.
