I don't know why, but this Starbucks always messes up my order, and then I'm stuck paying a ton of money for something I didn't get. For example, a few weeks ago I ordered a nitro with vanilla sweet cream, but they gave me a drink with no sweet cream, just black nitro. Plus the line took so long, it took me about 20 minutes to get a drink I did not want. Then today I ordered a dirty chai, and I received a latte.
It's very rare that I order coffee, and when I do it's because I'm craving a specific drink, and it kind of ruins my day when I'm given the wrong drink.

This Starbucks location consistently delivers exceptional service and quality. My wife and I visit frequently, both in the mornings and evenings, and it has become our favorite location among all the Seaside and Monterey stores. The staff are always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere every time. Went to pick up my mobile order that I get all the time, they gave me the drink in the first photo and immediately knew that’s what it’s not supposed to look like. Had them remake it, and was handed practically the same thing. I went to another location down the road and they made the drink properly in the paper cup in the second photo.
The barista at the drive thru window blew me off and sounded like I was an inconvenience when I asked if the drink could be remade. Definitely will not go back or recommend this location to any friends or family 👎

Coffee was good, but I was intending to spend half an hour here for some relaxation before heading into a busy day. No chance. It’s super small, with just 2 or 4 small tables and a couple of edgy wooden chairs. On top, very noisy. I did not stay and rather sat in the car instead. I think that says it all 😆

I am a regular customer at this place usually drive-thru; Earlier this morning I had the most unfriendly barista I ever met. I was in drive thru at 7:05 am and spent around 16$; when I tried to explain my prev experience to the lady at the drive thru, of a half-watered oat milk latte, she said she didn’t understand me : twice; I again explained at the pickup window; the lady at the window, said oh; and went on as if nothing happened; worst service and I’m not gonna visit this place again!

Easily the worst Starbucks I've been to. I ordered a Frappuchino and they served me a watery coffee. I think they forgot to blend it, since it tasted better after I shook it. How can they be so incompetent as to forget to blend a drink, and not notice that the texture was wrong when they poured it. Save your money and go to a different location.

Over time this has become my primary location for coffee and on-the-go food, as the orders are correct every time and the service is always phenomenal. When I need coffee, I actively plan my route around this location as other ones have been less reliable.
Highly recommend for service, order reliability and good quality coffee.
This location has no merch. If you're wanting any "been there" series mugs. Travel further south into Monterey or Carmel. In addition, it's a very busy drive thru as it sits at a busy corner near McDonald's and Embassy Suites.
It's a good stop if you just want to get off and back on the freeway in either direction.
Parking: The small lot has 5 spots to park, but watch carefully for traffic coming out of the drive thru, and cars coming in from Del Rey Oaks
