Wakatobi Japanese Grill Hibachi and Sushi

Ordered the beef udon soup take out. The noodles had mold all over them. BLACK MOLD. How can a restaurant be that negligent. There wasn’t just one noodle with mold there were multiple. Don’t go to this place. County health inspector should pay them a visit. People can get sick from that. What if i was a small child or an elderly person or an immunocompromised person. That could make someone very ill

Very good food quality. What was disappointing was the forced 18% gratuity for my family of 5. Then was given attitude when I didn't tip additional over the 18%. The best part was food quality. The service was just ok. We are a very low maintenance family to wait on.

While the atmosphere and the service were really good, the food was subpar. For the cost and what you pay, I was actually disappointed. It seems like the hibachi style food is probably the best way to go. The sushi I won't ever get again. I feel a little bad about the review, because honestly they had excellent service. But I would be remiss if I weren't honest about the fact that the sushi was not good. If I had to compare it with anything, it was similar to something you would buy at the grocery store. It's not that I don't recommend this place, but if you're looking for sushi, I'd say chew somewhere else. I will say the sashimi and the nigiri were very fresh and good. Had I known, that's all I would have gotten instead of the rolls that I got.

Unfortunately the food was not as good as expected. The fried rice was dry and crunchy in some parts. It also lacked some flavor - did not feel fresh. Disappointed as we were hoping the food would reflect the reviews.
