The restaurant setting, decor, and staff are great. The staff is very friendly and efficient. They seem to appear just when you need something, like more chips or salsa. It's great. I just wish there were more options for salads or soups. ?Dietary restrictions: The food is fresh and delicious, however there aren't too many options for a vegetarian or vegan. The Portobello fajitas are vegan and amazing. There are a few salads, but you will need to ask to have some items taken off. They are very happy to accommodate requests.
Great food and service every time. Our drinks and chips/dips are always full, and we even got some complementary treats! Very family friendly and great sized portions. My son and I split the fajitas whenever we go and always have leftovers to bring home!

went in right before closing server , Adrian was very attentive & friendly he checked on us frequently without being intrusive bar drinks were great the food was amazing & came out in a timely manner definitely recommend mocajete a la diabla & chicken tortilla soup the decor & the ambiance was great will definitely be back

Just meh,Food not amazing or anything.Felt rushed out because they were closing soon, 8pm on a Friday? (got there at 7:15), ridiculous SoNoCo restaurant hours, but yeah, $65 + tip, for 2 people no drinks, no appetizer no desert, should be way way better than what it is.

I was there to pick up a doordash order there was some misunderstanding with the doordash app though it was a very complicated situation together the management the customer and I were able to figure it out and get it taken care of with no problems I would recommend them 100%

This place is a must! Not only were the food and drinks amazing, but the staff was so friendly and personable. The manager came to check on us periodically and being it was my best friend's birthday, gave us free shots and dessert. This place does not allow your water or dip to go empty. Oh, and they give you 3 kinds! Salsa, beans, and guacamole. They make you feel special with how well they take care of you and frequent your table to make sure all is well. Would absolutely recommend coming here!

I've been to El Coronel twice. To say that this food is pedestrian and underwhelming would pretty much sum it up. Nothing special, just run of the mill refried beans, Spanish rice, and whatever your entree happens to be. Drinks ar so so. Service is okay, chairs are fancy, parking is easy, so there's that.

Wow! We went here for my daughter's 21st birthday and this was hands-down the best service I have never received. The staff kept our waters full and the complementary dips and chips were amazing.The manager stopped by our table multiple times to check on us. We told them how happy we were with the service and they brought us a complementary dessert as well as complementary shots.I highly recommend this place. We will be coming back next time we are in the area.

Just... wow! I recommend this restaurant 1000%. Our drinks were never empty, the complementary dips and chips were always refilled before they were even gone and the food was absolutely amazing. The service was on point and the manager stopped by our table several times to make sure that we were happy. Along with our meal, we received complementary nachos, dessert and shots. I am sad that I do not live in this area and cannot visit more often, but we will definitely stop by whenever we are in the area. Highly recommended!

Service is always top notch. The wait staff fills waters regularly. Ordered shrimp & crab enchiladas They are super delicious, came with black beans , rice and a salad. The restaurant is clean and well decorated. Would definitely go back. This restaurant puts their into the food & service!

Our favorite place! Service is always friendly and kind. Food and Margaritas are perfect. Free chips and salsa and the most delicious beans you've ever had. We've never had a bad experience. Anyone who visits, we take them here! ❤ Tonight there was a small hiccup (which they fixed quickly, we didn't even know it had happened!) and when our check came we noticed they had taken off our margs. So sweet (and unnecessary!) but it made our day. Parking: If main parking is full there is more on the back and to the left. Extra parking to the left, just watch out for potholes.Kid-friendliness: Kids can just be kids here. They don't mind at all, have a great kids menu, and are so welcoming.
