We were pleasantly surprised to find such excellent Indian food so far from the Bay Area. We'd definitely recommend it to anyone traveling this way

Food and service were great! Our waiter was super nice, he gave great recommendations, and was very personable to me and my partner. As for the food, the tandoori roti, paneer tikka, and baingan bharta were amazing, very authentic, and felt just like home. Will happily be back :)

We got a paneer dish, eggplant curry and garlic naan, and it was absolutely delicious! And our server was delightful.

Best spot in (Sebastopol). Food is delicious and always fresh. Service is exquisite and it’s family owned. Can’t beat this place.

My friend and I sat outside in the garden with our dogs, what a fabulous lunch! Chicken/coconut with delicious gravy, Nam bread with garlic and cheese, goes well. Top with Tai ice tea. The service felt so personal and helpful. Had a great dinner there with my husband for Valentines Day. Can hardly wait to go again.

I saw this place while driving to Sebastopol and figured I would stop by when leaving and get some food to go. The service was great and the food was amazing. I loved that they ask what spice level. I said I wanted above medium spicy but not so spicy that it takes over the flavor.

Driving home, the car smelt so good. You could smell all the fresh spices. Once home, the food was amazing. So many complex flavors.

This would easily be 5 stars but the portions were on the smaller side. It came to about $60 for two masallas (which include rice), 1 appetizer and garlic nan. The chicken tikka masala had about 6 chunks of chicken.

Despite the price, I'm definitely going again.

Having traveled to India and Nepal, I can confidently say this is great Nepal/Indian food! It has the traditional foods you will recognize like tikka masala and biryani and all of it is good! We have taken many people out to this restaurant and everyone enjoys it.

Not to toot my own horn but my wife and I have been to both India and Nepal and this humble spot in Sebastopol is without question the best Himalayan food we’ve ever had. The family is great too!

Food is low quality, chicken is very bland and has weird texture, prices aren't updated on the menu, expect to get charged 2 dollars on top what's showing on the menu. Be ready to sit in high temperature and darkness. They have the A/c and lights off.
The food quality has dropped over last two years! Not sorry for posting this, because we had to pay for food we didn't eat!

This place has been a long time favorite until now. This was the best curry in the area however they must have recently changed their recipes. Their chicken tikka masala was a comfort food that I would get often, I went there in January or February and it was still delicious.
We first noticed things were different when we saw the serving sizes of the curry was smaller than it used to be, yet more expensive. Even the naan used to come with 4 pieces an order but now only came with two pieces, even though it is also more expensive than before. The quality and quantity used to be worth the prices, so an increase is understandable over time. But increases in price while decreasing the quantity and quality of the food doesn’t make sense.
It’s also extremely disappointing, this was literally one of my favorite restaurants. But I couldn’t even finish the curry it wasn’t like it had been literally a few months ago.
Sad to see another Sebastopol classic go.
