Extremely good cider made from local apples. Especially liked the Gravenstein. Cody was an exceptional bartender. Loved everything about this place!
What a beautiful place to taste delicious wines and ciders. The staff are amazing and make wine tasting fun and relaxed. I love the charcuterie and cheese combo plate also.
Wish I would have sorted the reviews from Newest versus Yelp review. Our kids are kids, they run around, they play, they're pretty sweet, but they are kids. Pretty sure one of the owners came over and asked for our kids who were 20 feet away from us to be with our children at all times. Are they supposed to sit on my lap?
If you're not kid friendly, then put it on your website and we won't come. My kids were looking in the fountain, touching the plants (I literally raise them in my enclosed garden at home, so they know to be gentle). The woman with short black hair, assuming owner or manager, said they couldn't speak to guests who were tasting, when my kids were literally not talking.
Nothing more pisses me off than a place that isn't kid friendly, not setting the rules outright.
We had a nice time here. The wines aren’t my personal taste as I like big and bold reds, but we had fun.The charcuterie was nice, and oddly enough I enjoyed their sav blanc. The Syrah was ok too. They have Cabernet on the website, but you cannot do a flight with it. We went specifically because they’re one of the few places with Cabernet in Sonoma, so it was a big let down for us. But the tasting liaison was fun and personable and we had fun.Horse and plow is a great and low key tasting in Sebastopol. And it’s dog friendly.
The best, family-friendly winery. Beautiful outside seating area under beautiful trees, a walk through garden with chickens. The wood cabin tasting room is decently decorated with local art work. Not a snobby winery as many are. April through October, there is weekly live music from local groups. They also have the best cider in the area.
Horse and Plow continues to be one of the most fun, inventive, and enjoyable local tasting rooms. The venue is a great-looking, easy-access spot. They have artist receptions, live music weekends, and even occasional theatre or other creative events. They serve their own artisanal ciders (very good) and wines (also good.) The overall attitude of the place is more hip, fun, and casual than 99% of the other Sonoma County tasting rooms. It is this fun attitude that really sets Horse and Plow apart and you never feel like they are pushing you to buy wine, they are more interested in you having a good time while you are there. It's never a sales pitch. Horse and Plow is a place to hang out with cool people who understand the true Sonoma West County vibe.
Nice dry ciders, pretty grounds
We had an amazing time at Horse and Plow today! It was so peaceful to sit under the big tree and sip on some wine and cider. The customer service was excellent and it was a great space to bring our kids and still enjoy some adult conversation. Highly recommend stopping by!
Real, fantastic cider both blended some single varietal. Owners and staff were super friendly, nice comfortable space to taste, overall a great place to stop that's a little different from the rest of the wine-only in the area. Strongly recommend! Oh and they have a cider club too, sign me up!!
Bland, boring and underwhelming. Clean bathrooms! Nice outside patio though noise from road ruins the ambiance. Limited choices and cider was ehhhh

Wonderful outdoor area, low key and relaxed but still feels unique and special. Perfect for bringing some picnic food and sipping on wine. Also delicious cheese plate ~
We arrived 40 minutes before closing and they were happy to arrange a tasting! Excellent wines with fantastic service, highly recommend !
Love this place. They are always so nice and have amazing wines and ciders. Their back room is cute, vintage, and cozy. The outdoor seating is lovely too. I love that you can do wine, cider, or a mix to taste and for the club.
One of the best places I've tasted in the Santa Rosa area in several years. Not only were the ciders amazing, but the wines were better than many wineries. My particular favorites were the rose, carignan, and Pinot noir. And Josh was super friendly and knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back!
Wonderful location set back from the road for a peaceful tasting experience. Wines and ciders are great for a hot day, and they offer cheese boards as well. Kid friendly and staff is very knowledgeable!
