Absolutely love how everything has very clear options. Vegans can order multiple starters, a bread, soup, salad, biryani, and have a dedicated curry section. Dishes were both smaller than I expected and more expensive, but still very tasty. A delightful Nepalese/Indian cuisine spot
Best noodle dish ever
This is my fourth attempt (2x dining in, 2x carry out) and I am again disappointed in the portion size and lack of flavor, especially given the price. I stopped ordering the naan and rice after my first two attempts (rice was dried out, naan was bland and chewy) and now just make my own at home. Tonight I ordered the lamb tikka w/ medium spice (a favorite dish of mine) which tasted average but was 90% sauce with 6 small, non-tender, pieces of meat. I should’ve learned my lesson as my previous dishes (ordered 3 and 4 out of 5 spice level) have also had minimal spice/flavor.
I really wanted to love this place given its prime location and absolutely charming feel. The menu has great variety of traditional options. Their service has always been prompt without issues and everyone I’ve interacted with has been extremely kind.
Given the lack of Nepalese restaurants in the area and my love for the cuisine, I may venture a 5th attempt (will order high spice) and update my review when I do.
Food was good. Service was good.
loved it!
Been coming here a few times and it deserves a review! Consistently great tasting food, but I think the prices are a bit high compared to portion. They are also very light on spice. I asked for 3/5 spice level, couldn't taste any heat at all. Other than that, food is great and I'll keep coming here.
I love this place—it’s my favorite restaurant in Sebastopol! The food here is so nourishing and made with so much love. I can’t recommend it enough!
Great food and great people! Their tikka masala is gold standard
The food is out of this world amazing. Fresh delicious and not at all crowded. Truly the best Himalayan food I have ever tasted. The Barlow was crazy stupid busy and this place is right across the street with no crowds. Simple atmosphere with nothing fancy but nice. The food is where it’s at.
My wife and I ordered takeout chicken ticka masala, nirvana chicken, garlic basal nann and basmati rice last night and we were very disappointed. Both the ticka masala and the nirvana chicken lacked flavor and the garlic nann was terrible in texture and taste.

They have the best vegetable pakora. Ideally located in the heart of Sebastopol. Best Nepalese Indian food.

Customer service is always great and the food is good. Though the portions have seemed to be halved but are the same price if not more..
Makes me sad, because this used to be my absolute favorite place to go and now I just can't justify the price for what little food I get. ?
