We travel from the East Bay tri-valley several times a year to the Santa Rosa area. We have a family member who used to work in that location. So we checked it out. I'm an East coast native. This is unquestionably the best New York style pizza in the bay area. We have tried just the cheese. Not so much into the toppings. It's all about purity for me. Not greasy at all. Thin crust is done to perfection. Cheese is just the right amount and flavorful. The sauce is the key that brings it all together. Consistently excellent Everytime! I beg my wife to drive there just to stop at Mombos and bring a pie home. PLEASE open a location closer to us! Maybe this side of the Benicia bridge? You'll have a customer for life. For those of you who haven't tried it, come give it a taste! Thank you guys!
I have to be honest. None of their “crispy fries” are crispy. I got the buffalo fries and they were soggy and lukewarm. I tried a few other with the same result. Pizza is OK. I like that I can order a slice but it’s no better than Sbarro used to be. Sorry - had high hopes. Second star is due to a nice clean location.

Got put on hold for 15 minutes with no reply. Went into the store then was told the name I gave was too difficult to spell. The cashier got aggressive when I asked them why I was left on hold. He told me "you were left on hold for 3 minutes get over yourself." What a professional attitude. The guy with scruffy hair and beard has horrible service and people skills. Leave me on hold and forget is one thing but telling me I was on hold for 3 minutes and then being toxic after you forgot? Wow

Says open till 10pm, but won’t make Pizzas after 9:30…So are they closed at 9:30? Doesn’t make sense to me. Would have liked to spend my money here.. but I guess it will go somewhere else.

I’ve been coming here for years ever since I was a little kid and recently they have been getting new pizza chefs and the pizza just dosent taste the same as it used to be. I ordered 3 pizzas and the pizzas were burnt spent over 100$ bucks for burnt pizzas
