As Mombo's seems to be the go-to for kids birthday parties I've largely made of their pies by now. Very solid all around, and the way they've got those cheese pies built they aren't just for kids. Mushroom Cloud for the win if you're adulting, with solid tap options available to wash it down.

My favorite part about mombos is their pizza creativity. Besides the usuals, they also provide a verity of custom/unique creation that push pizza innovation. They are great b/c they push greatness.

We travel from the East Bay tri-valley several times a year to the Santa Rosa area. We have a family member who used to work in that location. So we checked it out. I'm an East coast native. This is unquestionably the best New York style pizza in the bay area. We have tried just the cheese. Not so much into the toppings. It's all about purity for me. Not greasy at all. Thin crust is done to perfection. Cheese is just the right amount and flavorful. The sauce is the key...
