Muir's Tea Room & Gift Shop

This was amazing! They always have a different theme (we had Downton Abbey) and they serve you one pot of tea per person which can be refilled. The sandwiches, scones and pastries were delicious - you could tell a lot of thought and work had been put in. The owner was so nice, always making sure were were enjoying our experience. Give it a visit!

Muir’s Tea Room…..a sweet slice of heaven in Sebastopol. From the moment you enter the property, you can feel the coziness, the love, and the care that is put into this business. Each and every person we interacted with was delightful, and Tyler was phenomenal…..he took great care of us, and was charming and attentive.
As someone who is not much of a “vegetable” person, I was unsure what to expect. Let me just say, if I had not known this was a vegan spot, I would never have guessed. The fruit was delicious and ripe, and both the sweet and savories were creative and tasty. Loved the veggie puff!
Last but not least, the shop…..so many adorable gift items, cards, soaps, stickers. Don’t leave without taking a close look around, you might miss the very thing you have always been looking for.

This is the most authentic and whimsical High Tea place in the greater Bay Area. The food is vegan and replicates english Tea sandwiches and pastries to perfection!!! And the atmosphere is enchanting. I am in love with Muir Gardens High Tea Room. ♥️♥️♥️

This place felt like a dream. We stopped by on a whim after visiting Zannah Farms and were so glad we did. The decor was adorable, the food was fresh, and the staff were incredibly kind. They went out of their way to make my sister feel special for her bachelorette. Highly recommend and big thank you to the staff.

We came here most recently for the Downton Abbey September tea. Every single sandwich or pastry was wonderful - it was my favorite menu yet. The service is exceptional. The atmosphere is charming with heartfelt and imaginative decor. Beyond the already creative menu, I’ve learned to also check out the pastry case for additional unique finds - this time, a gold-dusted chocolate frog. The gift shop is also lovely to browse and has yielded some cherished finds. On top of all of this, it is dog-friendly, and so special to be able to sip tea with both human and canine friends. I’m including a few photos also from past visits - last year’s Tiki Tea and Black Hat Society - as well. Grateful for this special place 🙏

Love Muir's! Delicious food (all vegan and a lot gluten-free), charming gifts and decor, super friendly staff, tasty ala carte offerings in the case, and a gorgeous experience. Highly recommend!

We've been wanting to go here for a few years and finally had the opportunity today. All staff are extremely nice and friendly and the owner is amazing. The tea and food exceeded our expectations. I like the fact that every month the food menu changes and everything is vegan. If you aren't a vegan, you wouldn't know it was vegan. We got some of the chickpea tuna to go for lunches this week. We'll be back soon!

This is, hands down, one of my favorite places to eat in the world. I’ve been going here since 2017 and the food is consistently amazing (tea is also fantastic). I’ve eaten at plant based restaurants across the US and the world and this is in my top 5 favorites. Had a chance to have a vegan tea service in a renowned London spot and it was nowhere near as good as Muir’s. Though I moved from the Bay Area a few years ago, I make sure to come here every time I’m in town. Mind blowingly amazing.

Muir’s is a place that I dream about on the other side of the country. What could be dreamier than a vegan tea house ? The service and hospitality are so so warm. The owner came over to say hello both times I was there, and is so friendly and kind. The pastries, Sammie’s, and tea are 10/10. The front yard of the tea house is just gorgeous. The gift shop is the cherry on top. This establishment is truly a dream - I wish I lived in Sebastopol for many reasons but Muir’s tea room has got to be #1. I hope they continue to be around for a very, very long time. Heaven!

I wish I could give a billion stars. I used to work at a vegan Bistro that would buy their desserts, and I haven't once forgotten about this place. No vegan baked goods have ever come close to how delicious and perfect they are. My friend, Lisa, did an order for 4th of July to bring to our party since I'm vegan and my friend can't have dairy, and they showered us with extras since they were closing up. Absolute treat 😋 thank you so much for your generosity ♡

High tea services for vegans are so hard to come by, especially in the US. Muir’s Tea Room does an excellent job with presentation and the quality of the food. They also have many snacks to take to go. 100% will come here again.

Had my first tea room experience at Muir’s Tea Room on Mother’s Day weekend and it was such a wonderful time! The tea room itself was such a vibe with adorable decor and ambience, the food was amazing, the service and staff were all lovely and we got to select our tea using little samples. The staff frequently checked in and made sure our tea pots were always hot and full. 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely be back!
