Muir's Tea Room & Gift Shop

High tea services for vegans are so hard to come by, especially in the US. Muir’s Tea Room does an excellent job with presentation and the quality of the food. They also have many snacks to take to go. 100% will come here again.

Had my first tea room experience at Muir’s Tea Room on Mother’s Day weekend and it was such a wonderful time! The tea room itself was such a vibe with adorable decor and ambience, the food was amazing, the service and staff were all lovely and we got to select our tea using little samples. The staff frequently checked in and made sure our tea pots were always hot and full. 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely be back!

Such a hidden gem! Beautiful presentation, the gift shop gave nostalgic Beatrix Potter vibes. The staff members were sweet and accommodating as we were unfortunately delayed by traffic. The food was lovely (savory items were my absolute favorite!) and we appreciated the thematic naming of the served food items. Everyone including our non-vegan friends gave the food and tea high praise! My partner and I can’t wait to come back soon!

Felt like I was a king. Delicious food and amazing service. Would go again.

Super cute tea room with fun china, delicious small bites, and great tea. The gift shop has great options for gifts for yourself or friends and family!

BEST food, staff, ambience, options for dietary restrictions (vegan, gf). We went here once for the high tea room and felt incredibly welcomed by the staff. We were able to converse with them for a long time and enjoy their delicious food. We got pastries and they threw in extras. Then we stopped by a later time because we were in town and ordered pastires from them and engaged in conversations with the lovely owner who also threw in another item on the house. We have dined many places (vegan, non vegan, etc.) and have very rarely been met with this level of hospitality, warmth, and DELICIOUS FOOD. One of my favorite places in the world. 10000000/10 STARS <3 <3 <3

We spent a wonderful hour or so here yesterday and loved every moment of it. We were surprised at just how much fun the experience was - and just how delicious the food turned out to be. The full service consists of a green salad followed by a what is essentially a three course tasting menu where every morsel deserves to be truly savored. All accompanied by endless tea! We will be coming back.

Amazing place with the most delicious food and tea. The owner is very kind and does a great job managing everything there! Looking forward to coming back soon.

The baked goods are delicious; The tea's are nice and they have a good variety. My wife enjoyed the mushroom tart. Hard to go wrong with anything here.

From the moment you pull up to the curb it’s a dreamy entrance. Walking up the woodsy steps, you are first met with a hallway of the most precious gifts, stuffed animals, and whimsical decorations you could imagine.
Then such happy humans are greeting you and ready to accommodate you through and through.
The music, the aesthetic, the vibe is all just right. You feel like you’ve escaped to a place with no time, and full of wonderful treats and company. The impression left on me by these loving and creative humans will last a lifetime.
Every season blooms in its own beauty through this tea house inviting you to enjoy it differently throughout the year. The thoughtfulness and intention in every detail makes every moment one to hold dear. A group of four happy hearts, we will be back VERY soon. Thank you Larissa and ‘Christinita’. Muir's Tea Room is nothing short of excellent and has such a nice ambiance. The Tea house is within an old Victorian home and has been decorated appropriately for the holidays. The winter woodland menu was also delectable and had such a great variety in the savory sweet pastry section. Even though this is a tea house, try the butter beer (NA) if you can because it's a drink of gold!!

Muir's Tea Room is the kind of place that comes top of mind for a special occasion, but if I lived closer I would be a regular. The ever-changing themed menus, the quality of the teas, and the stellar fully-vegan eats makes this tea room a must no matter the season. I've come here for years and have yet to receive anything less than fantastic service. Reservations are a must, especially if you want garden seating. Get on their email list!
