I love Papas and Pollo as far as love for restaurants go. The staff is so kind, the food is always great and fresh! I usually get the Papas and Pollo burrito and the baked potato! The potato is baked perfectly, and the burrito is cooked nicely, ingredients fresh, and definitely the best burrito I’ve ever had!

I typically pick up my food here as I live in the neighborhood.Recently,I ordered something other than a menu item: a super burrito with shrimp and a sm.bag of chips. At the register,my bill was a few pennies less than $26 ! I was dumbstruck. Although it was very good and a generous portion I can't justify spending that much on a single item. It is sad because it is obvious to me that not as many eat here as in the past. I mean,I can have a sit down meal at Martha's Old Mexico w/tip across town( and my son and I did recently). We both brought food home and he has a big appetite. Bottom line: If you want some business,roll back your prices or just sell to people who are willing to pay ridiculously for what you offer. My quarrel is with the prices and not the product

This place is s real hidden gem. The outdoor seating on a nice day is difficult to beat. The food is no joke, great surf Mex... Burritos and tacos but well made with obvious attention to detail.
