I typically pick up my food here as I live in the neighborhood.Recently,I ordered something other than a menu item: a super burrito with shrimp and a sm.bag of chips. At the register,my bill was a few pennies less than $26 ! I was dumbstruck. Although it was very good and a generous portion I can't justify spending that much on a single item. It is sad because it is obvious to me that not as many eat here as in the past. I mean,I can have a sit down meal at Martha's Old Mexico w/tip across town( and my son and I did recently). We both brought food home and he has a big appetite. Bottom line: If you want some business,roll back your prices or just sell to people who are willing to pay ridiculously for what you offer. My quarrel is with the prices and not the product

Papas and Pollo is a must-visit! The food is authentic and delicious, especially the mesquite chicken salad. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is lively. Highly recommend!
Such a local treasure! The food is of the highest quality, the atmosphere is welcoming and even the takeout experience is painless, they know how to run a restaurant. I highly recommend the chicken on a hot tin roof burrito with extra greens :)

I live in the East Bay, & whenever I drive through Sebastopol I stop here for a tofu burrito. Waited about 25 minutes for my order, got home 2 hours later to find a pork burrito instead. Super disappointing, as a lifelong vegetarian there was nowhere to go from there. Should also add that my $5 4 oz. guacamole container was brown around all edges.
