Did a private tasting on 9/10 at Paul Hobbs winery. The whole experience was amazing and great. The food was an excellent treat along with the tasting wines. The service was amazing and location was just amazing. Highly recommend to pass by this winery for a great tasting experience.
This was the most classy and elegant winery experience we enjoyed on this trip! The Pinot noir was lovely and food by executive chef Tim was incomparable. This is such a beautiful spot and it was a wonderful experience to visit start to finish!
Incredible wines and service
Came by here just to buy some wine for a friend and they were so friendly and helpful! Lukas was great, walking us through everything.
Their entry level wines are good, but not the attraction. The upper level cabs are truly amazing, though very expensive. If your price point includes $300+ bottles then it's a must stop. You'll learn a ton about the wines, the area and the history of both during the tasting.
Really loved the intimacy of the tasting experience here. My only knock- and why I deducted a star- the cheeses were only sheep and goat based. If that’s not your thing, it’s a bit of a miss- a single cows milk cheese being available would have been excellent.
This is one of the best winery tastings I have ever had! This is not a place you just drive up to and expect a tasting. This is a wine experience!!The vineyards are spectacular. You can see that they take great care in everything that they do! The wine is absolutely amazing. The Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon were some of the best I have had, and I have tasted many wines, and visited almost 200 wineries. The wine manufacturing facilities are awesome. It was great to see the process. I found our host to be very knowledgeable and personable!I recommend making a reservation here and enjoying everything they have to offer!
Drew was fantastic. It was a very intimate tasting
Very good
We first had the pleasure of tasting Paul Hobbs wines at the Santa Fe Wine and Chile Festival. We liked the wine so much that it was a must visit on our recent trip. We made sure to do our research and had a reservation given that Covid and recent fires have created so many restrictions. Our group of 6 was warmly greeted by our host and seated in a beautiful courtyard area. What happened next left us wanting to spend the rest of the day enjoying the delicious vintages. We thoroughly enjoyed the history and learning about the many ventures Paul Hobbs as a renowned wine maker now has in other countries. Every vintage was well received and each glass made us look forward to tasting the next varietal. As wine tastings go, this was easy going, comfortable, and reasonable. We look forward to receiving a shipment in the near future as well as a return visit!Addendum - we have had the pleasure of trying some additional Paul Hobbs inspired creations - Alvaredos-Hobbs from Galicia, Spain had a wonderful white Godello and red Mencía. Next up will be a shipment arriving this week from Yacoubian-Hobbs in Armenia. This fall will take us to the Finger Lakes region of New York where we look forward to enjoying Hillick & Hobbs Seneca Lake Riesling. Spring next year brings us to Viña Cobos in Mendoza which should be quite a treat. Paul Hobbs' artistry in crafting his wine is both unique and amazing. Wines are quite expensive to craft at this level and many are special occasion vintages.

Me and my family had a wonderful time here doing a pairing. Food was absolutely amazing and so was the wine. I highly recommend coming here.
Horrible customer service!
A family that seems to have their priorities in order, and producing a great wine to boot.
An elegant tasting room and some.spectacular wines... enjoyable Chardonnays, a variety of Pinots, and some very highly rated Cabs. Make reservations to see some highly skilled stainless steel welds.
This supposedly 'sustainable' winery cleared a Sonoma parcel of trees, with no permits, and paid only a minimal fine. Needless to say, they won't be getting my business.
