I happened to stumble upon this place by accident and was instantly fascinated by the dispensers—such a cool concept! We were taken care of so well by Kerry, who was incredibly kind and helpful. You can really tell they’re passionate about working with their partners, and every wine has a story. I can’t wait to come back!

My favorite wine bar! Build your own adventure since they charge by the splash, half, or full glass. Nice curation of wines. Discovered Williams Selyem for the first time here. Region’s membership is a really great deal and includes the one in San Luis Obispo!

WARM WINE / COLD SERVI I was told I was standing in the wrong area to order a glass of champagne. The women (plural) told us that we were in the members area of the sparking wine counter. WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THE ESTABLISHMENT - there was no signage to delineate a members area. Very unfriendly, condescending and unhelpful.

As a former sommelier with 25 years experience in hospitality and Michelin star establishments - this is not how I would EVER treat guests chez moi.

This is one wine REGION I will NOT be revisiting.

My husband and I had an amazing time at Regional. What a cool concept!! (Tasting wine from numerous wineries around the region, all in one place.)

When we walked in, we saw the wall of various wines, which is just a fun sight in and of itself. Then, we were greeted with such warmth and given a brief explanation of our options. We were there for wine, so we had the choice of a couple of hand-poured tastings (that included a variety of wines and wineries) or we were welcome to help ourselves to the ‘wine wall’. We were slightly intimidated at first, but after some guidance and additional information from the staff, we decided to do our own tasting. I’m so glad we did. It was so much fun!! We made our own tasting and chose exactly which wines we wanted and how much of each wine we wanted (as you have choices of how many ounces you’d like each pour to be). It was truly great fun! And we tasted some lovely wines.

The true highlight of our experience was the staff! They were friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. They were also quite patient, taking time to explain the process and discuss the different wineries. This was a last minute trip for us and we had no idea what we were going to do, but Kerry and staff had so many ideas and suggestions for us. We ended up visiting a couple of wineries they had suggested, as well as numerous restaurants and establishments, based on their recommendations. They really ended up giving us an itinerary for the rest of our short trip.

Cannot recommend this place enough. You can sit outside or escape the heat inside. You can choose your own adventure or let them help you. You can experience numerous vineyards and wines all in one place. It was a highlight of our trip. You have to check out Region!!

(They also have these incredibly cute ‘Sampl’ wines you can purchase to take. Quite fun!)

Region is a self-serve wine bar located in The Barlow in Sebastopol so you will be surrounded by shops, restaurants, and so much more! We were warmly welcomed when we arrived and you are given a wine card and instructions on how it all works. After that, you are left to explore the many incredible local wines they have here. You select the wine you want to try and the size of your pour and you have over 50+ local wines to choose from so it's an excellent way to try out some amazing wines! Many are smaller wineries so it's great that you can discover these wineries this way! You pay at the end and you will have the option to buy any wines that were your favorites.

They have both indoor and outdoor seating and the area is spacious so you will have lots of options as far as seating. The service here is excellent! It has a relaxed vibe and is a great place to hang out.

They have a food menu and you can select items from WM CoField Cheesemakers, Acre Pizza, or The Farmer's Wife and it will be delivered to you so you really have it all in one place, which is really nice and convenient.

I highly recommend checking out their website for events that they have with the different wineries. During these events you can try out a flight of wines from a specific winery and take a deeper dive into their wines! They also have other fun events as well!

Highly recommend coming and enjoying some local Sonoma wines!

The place is really nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. Wines are solid but nothing special. Definitely a spot where you can hang awhile without getting rushed out. Food comes from a place across the street, is ok.

Very knowledgeable people willing to explain everything to you if needed. Reasonable price for flights, and they also have a tasting wall where you can purchase a card and try different varieties of wine.

The concept is very cool, but honestly the place was a bit of a let-down. You pay high price for self-service, and the size of half glass is so tiny that this it is equivalent to what other wine bars would pour you just as a taster… wines are nice, but far from the best we had in California

Great place for tasting multiple regional wines, without bothering with tasting tours and registrations.
