We were looking for a classic breakfast, and this place had it all! I had eggs, bacon, and hasbrowns. My eggs were cooked perfectly, and so was everything else. My husband had the French toast, and that was delicious as well. Friend and speedy service!

I ordered a plain cheeseburger for my daughter and got the most disgusting burger ever. First of all they put everything under the sun on it including some special sauce and mayo even though we requested no toppings three times. My daughter tried her best to eat it since we got it take out order. She ate very little. I thought maybe she was being dramatic and tried it for myself and the meat was inedible. Like the worst flavorless cheap meat patty. Costco burger meat had more flavor and texture than this meat patty. The cost of the burger was ridiculous for this quality. It was clear they were trying to cover the cheap meat with all of these toppings thus why they included them. I am so disappointed and will not return. Just for reference, my daughter enjoys Burger King and could not eat this burger. That says a lot about how terrible it was.

Holy crap this place is delicious! Walking by I didn't think I wanted to go in. But we walked in. Definitely classic cafe/hole in the wall vibes. Coffee delicious, pancakes , chicken sausage and hasbrowns amazing. Wife got the chilequiles she said it was to die for. 5 stars just don't cut it. Service friendly 50stars out of 5.

I come here for a reliable diner breakfast. Denver omelette with hash browns. The basics. Good menu, nice service. Family owned. This is an unpretentious place and I am scoring accordingly. I'm giving five stars for everything, including atmosphere, but there is no atmosphere. :-)Downtown Sebastopol needed exactly this restaurant. Try the chili relleno omelette for something special.

I'll be brief. If you are scouring Yelp Sebastopol for the place that does an authentic Chicken-Fried-Steak, Sunshine Cafe is NOT the destination to acquire such a delicacy. Nope I'm afraid you will be served that breaded pre-pressed patty of god knows what and calling it CFS. Sadly this happens all over town. Apparently good authentic CFS is impossible to locate in Sebastopol Graton or Forestville. If you have found the Holy Grail of CFS leave me a comment please. Cause if you know, you know. The staff was pleasant. looking back, the reason for three stars is, I discussed my need for the *perfect chicken fried steak with my very pleasant server. I was still served the patty. imo my server should have steered me away from the patty. The ambiance is family style with a slight greasy spoon flair which for this fella is one of the reasons for taking the chance on CFS in the first place. Fair prices, good service, friendly staff, mediocre food. I pine for the PINECONE of yesteryear
