There are many amazing spots in Sonoma, but this one stands out as truly special. Sonoma Wine Shop / La Bodega offers one of the most unique and memorable dining experiences you can have. From the moment you walk in, the warmth and hospitality make you feel right at home.

The food is exceptional — creative, thoughtful, and absolutely delicious. The bistro ravioli and morel fettuccine were extra special — we literally wanted to lick the plate. Every dish feels crafted with care, and every bite surprises you.

And Ori… what a gem. He’s a master at wine pairing — he keeps pouring and pairing until he finds exactly what you love. We came in as newbies and left feeling like family.

If you’re anywhere near Sebastopol, do yourself a favor — go. You’ll eat, drink, laugh, and leave already planning your next visit. One of those rare gems that reminds you what true hospitality feels like.

This restaurant is vegan/vegetarian. The atmosphere is like eating in a country home. The food is wonderful and so is the super attentive service. Lots of delicious wines are supplied by a very knowledgeable wine host. I highly recommend for special dinners without the children. Their menu is available on line.

Fantastic experience! They treat you like you are a special guest at their home. I love how they dial in the you like. Staff is so fun and polite. You feel like the do everything in their power to make you comfortable and happy. Food is outstanding. I love the morel and mushroom fettuccine so much!!!

A lot of restaurants have a nice ambiance. A lot of restaurants have great food and wine. And a lot of restaurants offer great service. LaBodega is ten out of ten in all of these areas but what puts it over the top is the presence and hands-on service and pride of the owner. She is fantastic - gracious at arrival and at the table frequently to insure everything is great. And the rest of the staff follows her lead. What a fabulous dining experience. As for the food - lentil soup and three-mushroom fettuccine - indescribable. And all plant-based on request. Don’t miss this hidden gem.

Wow, we were so amazed by the wonderful food and wine tasting. They were so accommodating to my dietary restrictions and let us sample some food items we were interested in. The wine tasting was fabulous— we got to try lots of amazing wines and the sommelier was great at narrowing down what we were interested in. Would absolutely recommend!

Amazing place with amazing vegan and vegetarian options. We loved the spinach & cheese Ravioli, Eggplant Parmesan, Bourekas, Arancini. The In house bread was super fresh. The service is undoubtedly 100/100. They generally suggest pre ordering, we couldn’t but still they were able to accomodate our requirements, we had our 2 year old niece and the made sure to entertain her.

My new favorite restaurant in the area by a landslide!!! Service is upbeat, food is so authentically curated, atmosphere is so cozy, making the whole dining experience just that- an experience. Not to mention this is a gluten free heaven (and dairy free too!) with most options on the menu able to be made gf and df. Insane wines as well.
PS the dessert menu is not to be missed :)

Both the vegetarian and the vegan food here is just superb. But what sets this place apart is the atmosphere, like you're dining in an old friend's home, and the warmth of the people who run the restaurant. Fifteen minutes in, you will feel like family. It's just a wonderful dining experience. We have brought many friends over the years and they all agree.

One of my favorite restaurants in Northern CA! The food and service is always fantastic. This is our 3rd visit and we’ll be back again in September.
