We preordered our food ahead of time and had great communication with the staff to make sure our allergies and dietary needs were met. Had a lovely tasting while enjoying our food. Also kept the kiddo entertained with Henrietta outside. If we lived closer we'd be regulars here. Do not hesitate to book and go!

A unique and wonderful experience. Hard to describe because it was so different but we felt like we had entered the coolest home with an amazing chef and fantastic wine selection. Very eclectic and as a non-vegan/vegetarian I didn't feel like I missed anything at all. And my wife who is vegetarian was enamored with the food, the people and the entire experience. Will definitely be coming back to Sebastopol, particularly to visit this restaurant.

You have the option to call in your order ahead of time, and the staff works hard to accommodate your specific diet. Once seated, there is no feeling of being rushed from one course to another and the food is excellent leaning toward Mediterranean. If you order the flight of wine, the steward will go to great lengths to hone in on your specific tastes. One of their goals is to encourage you to join their wine club, but I felt no pressure to do so. But from a non-oenophile's point of view, the selection is rich. We must have tried at least 8 different wines. One of the surprises was a blend which contained 29% Sagrantino. It reminded me of Italy. The ambience was intimate and homey. I felt as though I was being welcomed to a family gathering. I highly recommend Sonoma Wine Shop and La Bodega.

Hidden gem! Gourmet vegetarian food with a homey atmosphere served on antique plates that will remind you of a holiday with the family. The food was so delicious. The artichoke appetizer in marinara with panko is one of my favorite dishes of all time. The homemade artichoke morel ravioli was better than any that I had in Italy. The people there treat you like family. Coming by to chat and get to know you. They are also a wine tasting spot and have a wine club. The server asks what type of wine you like and picks a couple for you to try before deciding. They ask that you order food ahead of time, so that took some getting used to since I like to make a spur of the moment decision, but after getting on board with that it was fine. Looking forward to returning.
La Bodega has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in Sonoma county. The food is delicious and creative and you have so many choices. It's a funky, comfy, quirky little place. The service couldn't be better, the owner and staff are lovely. And of course special mention must go to the beautiful Henrietta (the chicken), who enjoys a little pat and a treat.

For the vegetarians and vegans out there, get ready to be blown away by fresh ingredientes and delicious recipes! The French lentil soup was the best soup I've ever had in my life! The lasagna bolognese omg!! The baguette! Don't even think twice! The whole ordering ahead was really cool too! Just come to n in and have an experience for yourself! Just wow!

Lovely evening at Sonoma, wine shop and La Bodega. We started with the Meza plate. The eggplant with pomegranate and molasses was delicious. In fact everything that was part of the.Meza plate was wonderful. The men had the French lentil soup and beet salads to rave reviews which they paired with a Zinfandel. My friend had the wild mushroom ravioli and I had the spinach al pesto ravioli. Everything was very good.

Went with a friend who hadn't been there before. Our lovely server (who just adopted an abandoned pitbull) recommended a Harvest View Tempranillo, which we really loved. We shared mushroom ravioli, Caesar salad, roasted artichoke hearts in marinara, and a couple of yummy deserts. This is one of my favorite places for a quiet, healthy, thoughtful, delicious dinner that doesn't involve harming animals. Meekk and her staff are always so welcoming and helpful. Can't wait to bring another friend to this one of a kind eatery.
