We live in Santa Rosa, and Sushi Kosho is by far our favorite sushi spot in Sonoma County! We love the hamachi jalapeño and the wide variety of sashimi offerings. Consistently great!
Wonderful sushi and sake, exemplary service. Had a great time enjoying my drink at the bar table.

Unfortunately, the nigiri was lackluster which was so disappointing. Spicy tuna hand roll was very good, the best item I ordered. Very spicy!!
Service was excellent!! Try the black sesame ice cream.

This place is ok, but they can't get a takeout order ready on time to save their lives. Order well in advance and expect them to be working on it when you get there.

Best sushi in Sonoma County hands down. Super fresh. Friendly staff always consistent. A solid drinks menu including thoughtful Japanese whiskey offering.
Sushi was excellent! Would recommend the wild mushroom salad. Sushi was served at room temperature. Service was excellent!

Went for lunch with a pal. We started with the calamari, attractively presented and oh, so very good. Really an exceptional menu item. My pal had one of the poké bowls, and I had a California roll (real crab), an order of the hamachi nigiri, and an order of mackerel (which was replaced by a similar and equally tasty because they were out of mackerel). The presentation of the nigiri was elegant, and each had more fish than rice. We both enjoyed our meals. Recommend trying Kosho if you haven't been. It was quiet on a Monday at lunch.
Decent food

The salmon nigiri is incredible. Perfectly balanced, great quality fish, delicious. Karaage fried chicken is super crispy and tasty, too.

The best sushi in the Northbay! Great Barlow location; parking is often a problem on weekends,- park on Morris St and come in from the back! Best plates: Machi Bon, Ahi tacos, red dragon and salmon citrus rolls; the sashimi 16 pc dinner is incredible! Be sure to get the mushroom miso, too!
Great service on valentines evening, lots of Nigerian choices that didn't disappoint. Delicious maki rolls and miso soup too!
