Still very good bagels but I feel they aren’t quite as good as they used to be but it seems everything is like that these days. Despite their tiny location, they do an efficient job at getting everyone served fairly quickly! Always friendly and smells so good!

It’s a popular place. There was a bit of a line out the door. But it moved at a steady pace. The bagels were fresh. We had breakfast sandwiches and they were good and hearty.

I had forgotten how great the bagels are at this shop and I was pleased to learn that they are still fantastic. The two women working here are extremely sweet. The prices are quite reasonable. I had the toasted garlic bagel with avocado and it was delicious.

The food is exceptional and the employees are so friendly and caring. My only regret is that I don’t live nearby to visit there more often!

If you can stand around for 10-15 minutes while they figure out how a line works and when to charge people than this is a great place for you to kill some time. Bagels were being shuttled out of a garage behind the building that didn’t look so hot. Places like this can only survive being the only game in town.
Best bagels ever
A good local place to buy fresh bagels. My bagel was decent. Taste is always good, just everything in California is expensive.

Go to for bagels. Been around for years. Small but functional. Outdoor seating.
As a former resident of New York and now forestville, New York City ain’t got shit on grateful bagel. Best bagels I’ve ever had easily, all the workers are really nice and there’s so much variety in the bagel flavors. All of them are delicious. Also prices are cheap for how good!!
The food is Great!
I do think they need to wear hairnets and hats!! Hair in the food! Whisp hair is cute but not around food!!! They did make a free sandwich.
Best bagel you can get, HANDS DOWN!
What a disappointing bagel. Baking a disc of bread dough with a hole in the middle does not a bagel make. Where is crisp exterior? Where is the dense, chewy texture? In an area known for good bread baking, how is it possible to get this so wrong???
Also, $4.50 for a bagel and schmear is highway robbery (especially for a “bagel” this bad).
Service was quick and friendly enough.
