This place is so well priced for the food we got and the service is so good. The waiters are super nice and warm. The atmosphere is very nice and well put together, it made me feel warm and cozy, and I'm normally a bit shy, and this restaurant made me feel welcome and not Uncomfortable at all. You also can't pass on the Greek fries and the dark chocolate mouse desert, the dessert was SOOO good 😊

The Redwood is our weekly go-to! The wine list is amazing. They always have fun, local purveyors and also some from far flung places that I would never come across anywhere else. The food is delicious - the rotating crudo is a must. The fried chickpeas and fried potatoes are delicious. What I love is how they really use the seasons as a guide and update the food menu to reflect the best of what's available locally. A true gem of a spot!

The Redwood is absolutely incredible. Not only is the food top notch (hello, Michelin, where are you already?) and carefully curated by an award-winning chef, but the wine selection is diverse and impressive. Staff are warm and friendly and eager to recommend pairings, and every single menu item is stellar (I’ve tried them all!!!!). This place stands out for its intimate and unassuming vibe, wonderfully intentional in their offerings and truly sincere in every interaction. I drive from Oakland to eat here often, absolutely would recommend everyone to come visit more than once.

The food is amazing. Staff was very warm and authentic. Great atmosphere. Had the lamb and the heirloom tomato salad. Superlative. I can't believe it took me three years to try it and it's 5 minutes away. Right downtown, easy parking.

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Sonoma County (and beyond)! Geneva works magic in the kitchen—order anything off the menu and you’ll be happy. I love the crudo and order it every time I come. Ryan’s wine choice is exploratory but he sets a high bar for quality, so as a guest you get the benefit of being able to be curious while knowing any wine you order will be delicious and unique. If you want to experience the heartbeat of Sonoma County—small farmers, bakers, craft winemakers, and a truly amazing chef—don’t skip The Redwood!
We got so lucky. We were simply looking for a spot open for dinner on Labor Day, and ended up at this absolute jewel. Dishes are thoughtfully constructed, well-executed and delivered with knowledge and true kindness. So many great local ingredients and on-the-spot seasonality. I can’t recommend more highly; only “nit” — the dining room is almost too low-key for such special food and service. Still, total respect.

Service was not great. Food was average, came out slow, even with only a few tables of customer.

I love coming here solo during lunch hour and treating myself to a little glass of wine. It’s also great for a little group of friends looking to chat over dinner. It’s casual but elevated. The staff is so so helpful in leading you toward something unique and interesting. I’ve loved everything I’ve ever tasted in terms of wine and vermouth. The hummus and mezze selection is off the hook. It is so so good. I also love the crudo and the liver mousse. The little wine shop is also great for a quick pop in and pick up. Always easy parking. Such a gem.

This is a fantastic local restaurant. The food is fresh, well balanced, creative, and unlike any other restaurant in the area. Some of the most popular dishes you can count on always being on the menu (e.g. lamb shank and crudo) while others are constantly changing so for regulars, there is always something new to try. And the service is professional while still being relaxed. A good place for an afternoon glass of bubbly or an extended dinner with friends. Check it out.

The food here is always fabulous.
This time 3 of us shared the meze plate with hummus, baba ghanoush and labneh, as well as a bing cherry, fennel, and ricotta tartine. Both were fresh and fantastic.
It ended up being plenty of food for us too so that for a couple drinks and food for 3 spent $60.

The Redwood in Sebastopol offers a delightful seasonal menu. Their snap pea salad is a refreshing highlight, perfectly complemented by the flavorful gailan and expertly grilled maitake. A true local gem for fresh, inspired dishes!

Great little cali-American cuisine restaurant. They have tables and a bar top. They've got a little natty wine retail area, and do happy hour as well. Dishes were tasty, and inventive, and price point was mid range. Will definitely be back.
