I went to sonic today and The lady said there was no ice cream whatever OK I dealt with that that happens, but then I went back around to order something else after I had already paid and she told me that the card machine wasn’t working, so I honestly think that this chick is just lying and getting overwhelmed with how many people were in drive-through and knowing that people might not have cash on hand because it just seems so weird that the ice cream machine and the card machine wasn’t working at the same time, this was at 10:30 sonic in Shafter

Service this day was pretty slow. My family and I stopped in to get drinks for our trip. Im not sure if there was only one person working that day or their team is just that slow. There wasn't a lot of people there at the time of day we arrived. Wait time was kinda long. At least 20 minutes if not longer. The new favorite drink is a Dr. Pepper with cookie syrup and sweet cream. 😋

Girls during afternoon/nightshift have serious attitude problems, they’re super lazy and rude. They don’t like working so they cut you off when you talk, roll their eyes, raise their voices, mad dog you and act dumb/clueless to avoid answering your questions. Everyone has the same complains so I think there needs to be new staff considering the food is pretty good.

I just want to say how I have never received good customer service at this location in the last 5 years! Everyone seems to hate there job! Today I just left the drive thru and the lady that took my order has no customer service skills and I believe her name was Kayla that’s what my receipt says! I ordered 3 blast after order she just said pull to the window. I said thank you I get to the window it appears she looks like a manager with a key card in her shirt. She say total she never smiles in fact gives an ugly look. I told her thank you once receiving my debit card back and again thank you after receiving my blast. She doesn’t give me a receipt with my card so I asked for it she doesn’t even respond just grabs it and slides shut the window! What a weirdo my check number is #604214 it was 10:45pm. I’m never coming here again the service is just horrible every time and it’s only getting worse.

Every single time I come to this location I am not ever disappointed! The people that work there are always super nice totally positive in a good mood cheery and extremely polite and I never leave from there in a bad mood because of their attitude or behavior like other places LOL every single person that works there has always been totally extremely nice. One time they even gave me extra cherries in my slush when I didn't even have to pay for them! She just knew that I always like extra cherries but that day I didn't say extra chairs because I didn't have enough money for it but the girl went ahead and gave them to me anyway in my drink and I didn't even know it until I got down to the bottom and then I seen them all there and I was like that was so nice of her! But anyway I think they're totally cool, the food is always great cooked well hot like they just made it not like it had just been sitting there all day like a McDonald's or something I go there about three times a week anyway sometimes I switch it up but for the most part I just get a number nine or I get like if I'm just there for a snack I'll get like mozzarella sticks with some type of drink either a slush or a shake or whatever but I mean I haven't tried every single item on the menu because I don't want to burn it out but so far everything is good and I think what matters more so even than the food is how you're treated at a restaurant in my opinion so yeah I think that the ppl at this location specifically need to be rewarded extra because they're just all so nice. That's like the reason that I continue to go back to that location instead of you know mixing it up and going to other places I just go there where I know for sure they're going to be nice to me im not from shafter im from bakersfield but i work down the street from this sonic so its on the way

The night crew sucks , showed up at 11:48 and 3 people rushed to their cars and took off . I waited about 5 minutes at the drive through speaker and nothing ! I get it , it sucks working late but I work in customer service as well and I wait sometimes 30 minutes or more after we close for our customers . Shafter sonic sucks !

Very disappointed in Sonic , they state there open till midnight but today 8-23-24 I went through the drive through at 11:40 pm and the worker rushed out. Why say your open till midnight if you’re not going to be.
