“10/10 – Hidden Gem with the Best Ribeye in Town! I’d been hearing rave reviews about the steak at China Cuisine, so I finally decided to check it out with my date. From the moment we walked in, the owner greeted us warmly and told us to sit anywhere – super welcoming and friendly right off the bat. The place has that classic Chinese restaurant vibe: nothing overly fancy, but cozy with an old-school diner feel that makes it comfortable and nostalgic. I mentioned I was there for the famous steak, and the owner recommended the ribeye without hesitation. I went with that, and had my date order one of the Chinese combination plates (can’t remember the exact name, but it was a solid mix of favorites). The food absolutely lived up to the hype – the ribeye was perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful, and the combination plate was spot-on delicious. Portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. But what really stood out was the hospitality; the owner was fantastic to chat with, making the whole experience feel personal and fun. Overall, an easy 10 out of 10 for me. China Cuisine is a must-try if you’re in Shafter – great food, awesome service, and that ribeye alone is worth the visit. We’ll definitely be back soon!”

“I just got this place for the first time ever and man the service is amazing they are so thoughtful they wait for the soda machine to fully shoot out the drink instead of doing it right away, they load up the fries they clean the grill in between burgers and the sweet lady in the front is so nice, i wish i can give it higher than a 5 star amazing service so thoughtful!!”

“We've been going to Tony's since we moved to Shafter in 2015. The food is always good and the place is always clean. A big shout-out to Leanne and Eddie a long time customer. My parents went to dinner on June 7th, my dad's an army veteran and asked if they give a discount. You didn't find out, because Leanne the waitress paid for my parents dinner with her tips and Eddie a long time customer chipped in.

She demonstrated excellent knowledge and helpfulness during the ordering process, offering valuable recommendations that I greatly appreciated. While the food was a little expensive, the positive aspects certainly outweighed this minor concern. Furthermore, the interior of the establishment was remarkably clean and well-maintained.”
