Love this place. The menu is exciting. You have to get the Chile verde bean dip! The service is on point. Family owned and operated and on the premises morning to night! Such a hard working family. Always making sure to make you feel welcomed and well fed. They have margaritas too! Give em a try, you won't be disappointed.
This is one of our favorite spots in Shafter! Everything is excellent. The heat level is up there. The salsa had a nice bite. The tortilla chips and guacamole are fresh made when you order and spicy. My omelet was fluffy and my husband's was cooked perfectly as well. The chile verde was spicy and good balance between sauce and meat. The rice and beans were good as well. If you are on the I-5 or HWY 99 this is where we plan our lunch spot. The food is excellent and the people so warm and kind. I had the Enchiladas Trio: one cheese, chicken and beef. Each has a different sauce which perfectly accentuates each, the best combination I have ever had and I have had a lot of Mexican food in my life.
