Probably the best location in Kern Co. I've been to most of the Tacos La Villas in Kern Co, and this one is most definitely the most consistent with the quality of food. At some locations, you order carne asada, and it tastes different depending on when you order and who makes it. At this location, I can count on the food tasting really good each time I go.

Save you money I ordered a Torta they didn’t wrap it properly and was very soggy!!!! Their quesadillas are mostly cheese I mean a ton of cheese!!

I came here for their Taco Tuesday specials. I grabbed 2 tacos de asada, 2 tacos de Pollo for under 6 dollars. The tacos as you can see, are served generously. Food was delicious. I heard they have Torta Thursdays. I can't wait to come in 2 days.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at La Villa. I ordered Asada nachos and was charged as such but when I got home, all I received was a tray of chips with pico de gallo, sour cream, and cheese—no meat at all.
This is completely unacceptable, especially when you're paying for something specific. It felt like either a careless mistake or just bad service. Either way, it's frustrating to pay for something and not get what you ordered.
Warning to anyone ordering here: Check your food before you leave or you might end up getting shorted like I did.

Never a bad experience at any Tacos La Villa I've ever been to, and this location holds true. My quesadilla was monstrous and delicious. Girl at the counter was super friendly and patiently helped my old ass with the ordering portal. Two thumbs up👍👍

I enjoyed a Hot Cheeto burrito, three carne asada tacos, and a birria taco. Everything was tasty – exactly what you'd expect from a good, quick-service spot. While it's not quite like a home-cooked meal, it definitely hit the spot when I needed something fast and satisfying.

We eat at the tacos la villa in Bakersfield a lot... so since we were in town visiting family decoded to get lunch and SO DISSAPOINTED! everything was wrong, I asked for 4 pork tamales they gave us 2, asked for nachos extra meat and cheese and beans nope I had 4 spoon fulls of meat, and I paid extra for it all.. the onmy thing they got right was the asada burrito. So won't be going back when we're in town! My in-laws said I should drove back and complain but seriously that's a waste of time and gas to drive back into town. But Bakersfield on Rosedale and the Olive Drive places are very good, and always make it exactly as I ask! The ones who run those place is doing well! Shafter needs help!

Filthy then when asked to clean tables as they all are dirty, girl rolled eyes, then guy asked which table is dirty that you want cleaned. We cleaned ourself and they never came out and cleaned. 2nd time here, same attitude will never come here again
