Very neat place. The owner was very friendly, interactive, and a very fun personality to interact with. His devotion and excitement to his food is obvious. Dim sun, Lumpia, and Pork buns were all very fresh and delicious, they were slightly unique compared to most others you would find around here. Take a walk around old Shasta and give this place a shot.

I really loved my experience here. we just so happen to be driving by and we're getting a little bit hungry so we stopped at the Panini place only to find out that not only did they sell Panini's, but they sold amazing Asian food!!! We will have to come back. It was very enjoyable!

My wife and I had a really good hand crafted cheeseburger, fries, and some lumpia from Shorty's Eatery. There were also lots of other food selections like sandwiches, paninis, and hot dogs, to pastries and pancit. Owner was really nice and shared lots of info about the building and business. We just happened upon this Eatery/Bakery while touring the historic town of Shasta on our way to Whiskeytown Lake (no food services at the lake). We will definitely stop in again, or just make the short 10 minute trip from Redding for the food and atmosphere. I love quality small businesses like this that are like finding gold in a stream.Parking: Street parking in front of and across the street from this business.

I've always passed by Shorty's heading west on 299 and have always wanted to stop in because it looked so quaint from the front. I finally did this past weekend and what a pleasant surprise to find not only baked goods and sandwiches but authentic Filipino food! I lived and worked in South Korea for 7 years and traveled to the Philippines 6 times. I love the country, and I love their food. I was able to get some delicious chicken adobo, pancit, and lumpia. The owner and chef, Rollie, was incredibly kind and friendly. I will definitely come back to Shorty's when I have a craving for authentic Filipino food!

Excellent food and pastries! The restaurant is in part of a historic building and is very charming. If you are headed to the Wiskey Town area, stop by and try a paninni! The owner is very nice and likes to visit with customers.

This is a quaint little mom and pop burger restaurant. They make a serious burger! Almost more than you can eat and all of the ingredients make the juice run down. Your fingers. You need to stop here!

Really sad sandwich. I was kicking myself after because there is better food up the road.

Legit food. Had the pot stickers and my wife had the Pho (I think). Will go back and try more and update review.

This is the cutest little place ever!!! The owners are incredibly sweet and kind and catered to my huge family of about 20 no problem. The food was amazing and came out in about 10 minutes! I recommend anything honestly and they're so sweet! The atmosphere is so cute and very cute! There's little fun signs and decor all over! What an awesome find!
