85C Bakery Cafe - Sherman Oaks

Out of all the 85 C's out there, this one has always come out on bottom for quality. They just made my boycott list. Here's how.

My wife ordered a birthday cake for my daughter online a few days ago. When we arrived to pick it up, the lady at the checkout register looked all over for it. She then came back and said they had sold out of that type of cake. She blamed the holidays and then suggested putting together slices of cake to make a cake. It's a BIRTHDAY CAKE! Maybe you are in the wrong industry. NEVER use this bakery for preorder cakes! They suck!!

We stopped at Paris Baguette in Encino on the way home. They came through for us. Now this is the place you want to be ordering birthday cakes from.

JOSHUA IS AMAZING ! Honestly he is the only reason I come back to this location. His energy is extremely welcoming and I feel so welcomed every time I come by. You’re a blessing !

As someone who goes there quite often for close to 3 years now I would say while the products are always good, the service has dropped, unless you have certain employees around the time you visit. I have a feeling that there were was change in management a couple of months ago, but now I feel like great employees who are very personal like Brenda and Josh aren't there anymore. I literally ask a new manager how their day was and they straight up ignore me. Need I say more.

Bought a mango panacota & black forest. Wanted to buy 2 drinks &;was told neither one was available. Paid for our order & got a table. We waited for 20 mins. Noticed everyone else were getting their order but not ours. So I went to the pick up counter and was told the cashier by the name of LISETTE SHOULD HAVE GIVEN IT TO US ALREADY. BUT NOT UNTIL I ASKED FOR IT DID SHE GIVE US OUR ORDER WHEN SHE SHOULD HAVE GIVEN IT WHEN WE PAID. The guy in the back counter was also rude. Both of them were.

The manager and her employees have terrible customer service. They messed up my order two times and they didn’t even make it right. I’m definitely never coming back here. The Westfield Sherman oaks employees are terrible and not friendly at all.

i love the boba here. josh is so nice lmao. their self service kiosk is out of order most of the time but all the employees are super nice and they remove the fruit chunks from certain drinks when you ask which is so great for sensory issues. anyway love 85

I had a smoothie strawberry banana. There was not a piece of Fresh fruit. All the ingredients came from a carton. It was mostly air and water. Take my advice and do not order any of the smoothies. It was awful

Have asked 3 times do not add sugar !!!!!!!!!!Why you still have me tea with 35% of sugar ?????? Just threw it !

They don't have a full list of ingredients and nutrition values, which is problematic.The cakes are tasty but the packaging is not well made to carry the cakes.The whole content of the powder spilled and came out of the corner of the package.I'm glad it wasn't on any of my clothes.

Ubiquitous, consistent, and delicious, 85C outclasses your local Dunkin Donuts by 10x.Bakeries are generally unhealthy, full of sugar, butter, and fried carbs. Definitely toxic food for your liver and shortens your life.But here at 85C there are hidden gems! Try the Taro filled buns. Taro is so good for you and the 85C has a copious filling. Want to have something savory? Try the bacon cheese bun. I usually have it with a side of hard boiled eggs that I carry with me.Avoid the westernized croissants and chocolate buns. Definitely not a nutrious option.

I'm disappointed my son's bday cake had the wrong name I was surprised I always order cakes for any occasion, but never had a bad service ? it was very sad to see my son's 16th birthday cake with the wrong name!!!! after I had ordered ahead of time Spelled his name clearly n he got a different name ! BEEN COMING HERE SINCE DAY ONE !

Stopped by 85 Bakery for a Tesla charge and got their famous iced sea salt coffee. It was all smooth sailing until I hit the "rock bottom" in my drink – actual rocks and sands substance! ⛰️ Had to bid farewell to my coffee, and my mood dipped faster than my Tesla's battery! ⚡?
