Went in the past and when they were open great experience. BUT beware- inconsistent hours. Went on a recent Saturday at 12:40am and they were closed, despite their website, apple and google saying 2am (I get last call at 1 something). I emailed the bar on their website offering a chance to respond before posting this review but no follow up. Sounds like something is up at the place lately perhaps.

Hole in the wall with loud trivia game happening.Hard to find. Just on little sign that says Bar.Tbwkr bouncer had to lead us there from the street corner...We ended up enjoying a lovely French themed restaurant and bar instead.

Pricy, but that’s because you’re getting a full experience with your drink order. Plus the drinks and experience are so good that it’s worth it. The food place attached to the bar is also amazing.

Found this bar acidently, but probably one of my favorite bars in Ventura. You go here for an experience. Make sure to sit at the bar! Bar men’s are super fun and experienced, I was able to order drinks that I wasn’t able to get in other bars. Honestly a must go place. My only bad take was that two of my cocktails costed as much as 4 that my friend ordered which was a bit sketchy.

One star for the drinks. Some were pretty good. The customer service was so shitty tho. The bartenders were so standoffish especially the tall guy and the Asian girl. The girl was our bartender but didn't even know all the flavors of a particular drink we ordered "those are all the flavors I can think of right now so that's all we have"...... and when I asked what kind of alcohol was in the drinks (because of a gin allergy) she said oh I can't tell you it's a secret.... Like okay it's not like I'm going to go start my own bar and copy your nasty drink the whole night she was giving attitude. Not one smile and if we asked her anything she was so short and would simply walk away. Horrible service.

Bartenders, or one, in particular, are the flashy type with all the nice tricks. The space is small for how much service it gets and it's pretty loud and dark. Depending on if you're there for intimate conversations, you might go elsewhere. Otherwise it's a nice spot

The drinks!! The ambiance!!! The talent behind the bar! The entire staff! And the music choices Everything about my experience was exceptional! Came here for a date night and expected to get one drink but stayed for a few because we were having a great time. The presentation and thought behind each specialty cocktail was an experience on its own. The most impressive presentations were the Philosophers Stone and the Transforming Daiquiri! We were helped by several different people and each made us feel welcome, provided honest and delicious recommendations, and were very very friendly. The bartenders also put on a show. We came on a Friday night and it wasn't too crowded like most bars - felt very low key and intimate but also a cool environment. All in all, loved this bar and recommend to anyone looking for a new experience and delicious/interesting cocktails!
What a great place we have been going to the sister bar next door Te'Kila, on the way out we stumbled unto Alchemy Bar last weekend! Glad we did !!! The Drinks are awesome the staff is incredible!!! This is our new spot!!!! If you are a local and haven't been here you are missing out!! IF you are in from out of town you are IN for a treat!!! Highly recommend!!!
